Love 2m ducting! Last summer my best was 1200 miles to the SE coast(I am in SW MN), my record is 1351 miles to the very southern tip of TX, guy was portable in a park 20 feet from the MX border. Get a lot of what I cal bread and butter ducting to 600 miles... My propagation indicator to the SE is a beacon in WI 350 miles away. It is audible 97ish% of the time usually right at the noise floor. When it climbs to S9++ I know conditions are up.
The one gentleman talking about tropospheric ducting is a wealth of information. But man whatever he is using for a microphone is terrible. Like nails on a chalkboard.
I have visited the Giga Parts store in Las Vegas at least 2 dozen times. Every time I was the only customer there? Every time I left empty handed
Another fine video showcasing excellence in Amateur Radio achievement and Amateur Radio citizenship.😀😀😀😀
