This is honestly kinda creepy. To see how much changed in Gotham in the 9 years between Origins and City. Entire districts were destroyed, others flooded, bridges that are in Origins don’t exist in City. The map in Origins feels open and breathable, but in City, it feels claustrophobic and inaccessible from the outside world, as it should.
Arkham city evolved the concept of Asylum But Asylum scared me much more than city by far, that's why I prefer it and I think it is the best of the trilogy

@IvanByle I'd say the original commentor is right with 9 years. Im pretty sure in total arkham Batman's career spans 12 years from his start 2 years before Arkham Origins to the end of Arkham Knight. And that's maybe where the other guy got the 12 years from but just a little bit off with that.

I find it a little ironic how for the Steel Mill, it looks christmas decorated in City whereas it looks normal in Origins despite Origins actually taking place on Christmas eve. Yes I am aware of the timeline and the arkham story
I love how in Arkham Orgins we see what was still a large part of Gotham city before half of it flooded and got abandoned and turned into Arkham City. So technically in Arkham Orgins its called Gotham City and not Arkham city even though both games are located same place.
If they do make an Origins Sequal, I hope they add the Bat Cycle or the Batmobile we see in Asylum, but never got to drive (I know Arkham Knight let use drive it), but I mean like for story purposes, itd be realy cool to drive both the Bat Cycle and the Asylum Batmobile in either a simular size map of Origins, or even bigger.

Origins is very soulless compared to City, and is a graphical downgrade. I never consciously noticed before at 1:16 how much lower the Arkham City version of the overpass is, since it's submerged in water. Also the Police Station/Train station seems to have been shifted over significantly in Origins.

Arkham Origins has a Max Payne 1 atmosphere whereas Arkham City feels like playing in a Tim Burton movie.
