The best of the RPG Trilogy by far, truly captures the assassin fantasy in a whole new way
ur origins stealth videos are so good
I think mirage will be up here with origins.
Yooo love ur videos @AltairStealth
@@BiggPapi77i don’t think you should count mirage to the rpg trilogy
Grand master Altaïr ibn La ad
Welcome tho master Assassin 😎
Bayek's story was so beautiful. We felt his pain and his joys. One of the best AC characters
After many long considerations, I would have to say "the best" AC character to me personally.
He's a self absorbed asshole who doesn't take responsibility for causing his sons death. He'd be the worst AC character if Basim didn't exist.
@@12xenn45overrated
@@12xenn45woah woah woah woah, lets all just agree Altair, Ezio, Bayek and Edward are the best.
@@memecliparchives2254I can agree with the other 3, but not Altair. Did doesn't have much character to him, he's a wooden plank.
I'm replaying origins right now. Beyek isn't always mad, he just remembers his son is dead after being happy momentarily. Also Aya was a huge missed opportunity.
I think the flashes of being a kind and happy man around children is the man he used to be before his son’s death. He misses being that person but there’s no going back for him.
I feel like he eventually moves on and allows his anger to motivate him to do something good. Which is establish the assassins
@@kyvian251 that scene on the beach at the end is when I think he let's things go.
seemed pretty evident that Origins had some major issues during its development that ended up impacting the story.
that aside, people who say Bayek is always angry must not have done a lot of side content, the flea of Cyrene is often a joy to have in your company & he's often just a kind, helpful person who falls into a life of protecting humanity instead of just protecting royals.
Replaying this as well. Attempting to platinum it 😅
The opening cutscene always gives me chills every time I've seen it
The best of openings
Same for me!! It’s insane!! 😎😎💯💯🔥🔥
''EVERYONE WHO SNIFFED THE AIR THAT DAY,IN SIWA!''
The ending when he jumps, and he hears Khemus voice says "papa jump", emotional 😢
Really surprised Bayek never got a sequel. It almost seemed like it was hinted at in the Hidden Ones DLC when Aya talks about Rome and that Bayek should visit her so he can see Rome.
Did you know that in origins, they originally planned to have Greece or at least a part of Greece in the game, and you were supposed to be able to have sea travel to get there, but they scraped it and decided to make it its own game
@@hitman-mq1wk I had no idea! That kind of explains why naval combat is barely even in Origins
Since it's the same engine, I wonder if someone could make a mod were they just connect the maps from oragins and Odyssey. That would be epic!
And they can use ai to have byek voice the lines that alexios/kassandra have
They could have made a trilogy and really fleshed out bayek smh that’s part of the issue with their current formula it’s a new character every game. It’s difficult to really grow w the character and appreciate them
We dont talk about the soundtrack of origin enough, its literally a masterpiece
This is just insane. It felt like it came out yesterday.
IKR?
It sound even more insane when you realise that AC3 is just 5 years older than Origins
Just the vibe of Origins and how immersive it felt was truly majestic. I remember the time I was exploring and found some cats by a cave, and I went in there and started chilling with them.
how to pat a cat? I remember bayek did it once near colloseum
Origins is what got me back in the series. The atmosphere in the game is unmatched to anything else ive played. You actually feel like you are taking a tour in ancient egypt.
Been replaying this game recently before mirage comes out, and the side quests are a lot better than i thought they were. The Memphis missions in particular, like where you hear Bayek cry after recounting his nightmare or him reciting the Medjay code and saying how his son should have learned that from him. What an amazing game and character
The zodiac dialogs (especially the child actor)!
Bayek of Siwa is such a beautiful character. Great with kids, ruthless with villians. He really sells the badass dad vibe. The voice actor was top of the line.
even crazier when you realize that this was his first VA work, and yet no one could come close in subsequent AC games (Kassandra was there but still nowhere near as good as Bayek - especially with much better cutscene animations in Origins).
@@srn7254this was his first VA????!!! damn he sound so experienced
I’d have never thought Bayek would have been up there with Ezio in terms of discussion. Loved this game.
way better than Ac2 ezio
@@user-wk7jk5of4fnah ac2 ezio is so good
The setting is absolutely what made this game stand out so drastically. Ancient Egypt is quite literally *breathtaking* in its scale and attention to detail. Greece and England, to me at least, felt so barebones by comparison.
Only someone who hasn't played Odyssey would call it barebones. There's plenty to criticize but attention to detail isn't one of them.
I just 100% completed and got every trophy for origins a couple days ago. Absolutely goated game, and i wish they made a sequel or at least a DLC where Bayek joins Aya in Rome. The ancient roman brotherhood would be sooo cool to experience.
Literally just finishing it half an hour ago. And in the name of Sobek, I really love Bayek, Aya, and Egypt. From Siwa to Alexandria.
I can’t believe it’s been 5 years!! It feels like Origins came out yesterday. It’s still one of my favorite games till this day! This game is the reason I love Egypt so much! 💯💯🔥🔥❤️❤️🇪🇬🇪🇬
i literally jus platinumed this game, this game is still an absolute masterpiece
origins is my fave forever. many times i tried to think if there is another game (among ac) i like this much but my heart always leads me back to origins. the setting, the protagonists, the story are always up there in the discussion
I really liked valhalla especially the asgard world and missions. And thors hammer and all that, I don't know why a lot of people didn't like it, I loved how long the game was to.
crazy it's almost been 6 years sense this game came out, i remember when it was first revealed. time flies
What's more impressive is that Unity is 9 years old! That game is better than anything since
When he picks up the eagle skull and sees the symbol in the sand I nearly shat. Ive just left Siwa in my new playthrough. A whole world of rad things to see and do ahead of me. I love revisiting games later on after I've matured a bit. I've become a dad to multiple kids since I last played this at launch. And my appreciation has been renewed for games like tnis.
Bro I’m telling you I played this game when I was 17 I played it again recently I got 2 babies now and this game will mess you up lmao they really go out their way to show how much bayek loves kids
Origins became my favorite games in the franchise because how the whole story and journey unfolds between the main game and DLC, love the character and setting so much. The combat and stealth work great and allow for some creative gameplay once you see how you can effect the npc's and environment. The attention to detail and sheer amount of activity going on. People say open worlds are empty and yeah you said it, despite being set in an actual desert there is alot of stuff going on all over.
Its 5 years old and its the best ac game i played since the older games. the new rpg ones fall so short..
Odyssey is the best ac ever made
I’ve been replaying it the last week and it bangs. It is so much fun and like the perfect size. It’s big but not overwhelming. Also Bayek is such a compelling character and assassin. In the same way Ezio had his motive start as revenge and become something more so did Bayek but I feel like his story was tragic and sadder. But this and the Ezio trilogy will be replays until I’m too old to play
Finished Origins 1-2 days ago, loved it! Great video!!!!
I love this game, it's vibe and the setting so much. I consider it even to be my favorite game I ever played. I played the original Ezio games too. I loved them, but I just felt more joy playing this and especially the aesthetic & Egypt itself just made me feel like I was living there during the time. It still blows my mind to this day.
I just started replaying this game YESTERDAY. Now that I have a monster PC, I can experience it in 4k on ultra and the game is absolutely beautiful. It's extremely immersive, the open world is amazing, the gameplay is very smooth and I just love all the details put into this game. The only think that slightly bothers me is that NPCs can behave a bit weird at times. There are a few details about AI that just trigger me, like the fact that Hepzefa plows through pedestrians when we ride camels, NPC buggies and charriots do weird things or when NPC start climbing stuff for no reason. But in general, Origins is a masterpiece!
I'm still salty that Bayek was robbed of the trilogy he clearly deserved. He was the most compelling and interesting protagonist since Edward and Ezio. The 2nd game could easily pick up where Origins ended and send Bayek on a quest to find the lost Apple in Judea, while he helps Kawab and the local Hidden Ones continue the fight against Roman occupation. We could see a wiser and more assassin-like Bayek who wears dark robes, blends in the crowds, ditches the shield in favour of smaller weapons and starts relying on parkour, stealth and tools instead on brute force.
And the last part of the trilogy would culminate in Rome. Just like Origins gave us scaled down Egypt, the 3rd game could give us a scaled down portion of the Italian Peninsula with Rome as its biggest city + a lot of smaller cities, towns, villages as well as mountains, plains and countrysides filled with side activities, side quests and Roman forts. This hypothetical 3rd game is the most exciting to me because it has insane potential for storytelling and gameplay. We could see how the Hidden Ones adopted all key Assassin tenets. We could see why Bayek was ultimately forgotten and Amunet was not - perhaps there was some sort of conflict between the two or maybe Bayek left the order in the end. We could see the iconic scene alluded to back in AC2 where Amunet kills Cleopatra with the snake. We could see Bayek continue his fight against Order of the Ancients who is now led by Emperor Octavian. We could see returning characters like Esio of Cyrene, who was sent to Rome by Bayek to be trained under Aya. This trilogy could have put AC back on the map as one of the most compelling narrative-driven series on the market! It would be so much better than 2 random games about Spartans and Vikings!
And gameplay-wise, the trology like this would be a golden opportunity to combine the new light-RPG elements of Origins with more classic AC features! For starters, we could see the return of social stealth and more technical parkour. Part 3 would also be a perfect opportunity to bring back the Brotherhood system where Bayek & Aya recruit talented rebels to make them Hidden Ones and then call them to help out during missions. We could even have a brand new skill tree dedicated to the recruits and their abilities. They could distract enemies, steal stuff, stealthily assassinate guards, start open combat or snipe enemies with bows from afar. We could have a 2-player co-op mode where one player is Bayek and 2nd is Aya and a whole series of missions where both characters work together. We could also see something like the Cult of Cosmos system from Odyssey but actually good - a series of "Templar" targets controlling different parts of the Roman Empire, each of whom would have a dedicated black-box Hitman-like mission where we get to choose how to assassinate them.
Abandoning Bayek has to be the biggest blunder in AC history since Ubisoft decided to sideline the modern day plot. It was such a dumb move. The story and gameplay write themselves here! I was 100% sure they would make sequels after I finished Origins and they just didn't. Why???
Honestly I think that playing as Bayek in 3 big games would be really boring. We had it in Ezio trilogy and already Revelations was a bit criticised for making us play Ezio again. I like Bayek but there are other great characters waiting in queue to play their role in this series. I think a better option would be a big DLC, where Bayek goes to Rome. I don't think it would be that time-consuming for Ubisoft to create Rome on a new engine for one DLC. After all, they would just have to take the assets from Brotherhood and kinda transfer them into a new engine while changing some things to make them fit better in that time period.
Bro you need to be working for Ubisoft 🤣 I had the same thoughts that he should have went to Judea we could have got some cool storylines I really enjoy when they intertwine religious artifacts with the pieces of Eden they really missed out on some great games
The protagonist, setting, and gameplay were fresh to the ac franchise and as soon as I got off school i remember the night it released I binged it from sun down until sun up…
3:18 as a matter of fact I've just finished playing throught the story of AC: Origins because of that patch so this video of yours really comes in handy
Love your channel
Yo bro I love ur video been watching u for six months and by then I've almost watch all ur videos you've helped me alot during a tough time
Ezio was unknowingly guided by the brotherhood members to become an assassin. Aya and Bayek had to learn from their mistakes. That was really solid story-wise.
The only thing I wish those two games DIDN'T share were purely evil antagonists. In my opinion this series shines the brightes when they make you conflicted about their motives and deeds.
One thing I noticed is how he loves children anytime a quest came up involving a kid you could just hear bayek talk softer to them always concerned I always went out of my way to make sure I help every child I could cause I feel like as a father bayek probably carries that burden
I love this game, the soundtrack, the recreation of ancient Egypt. It's just so gooood
I still play it today and always manage to get amazed by how Intricately beautiful this game is.
It made me fall in love with games after a long time❤
Origins is my absolute FAVORITE game in the series, then Brotherhood and AC3. I'm currently replaying Origins now with the remove the shield trick and secondary bow on PS5, so now my Bayek looks super clean with only the bow and quiver on his back. It looks perfect with the Altair outfit and still sorta fits the Egyptian setting.
The nostalgia i have for this game is unreal. played through it twice now and this video made my consider playing it again.
I stared doing a playtrough on all AC games from December. Now I’m at Origins and I enjoy EVERY second of it
Looking forward to the playthrough vid!
Love your video and 5 years old already wow
I played it 3 years ago and forgot about it. I started replaying this game. Man. I really didn't play properly last year. The open world and map design is something else. You can spend hours just roaming around egypt. Absolutely love it.
I love AC Origins because it also explained how the Templar Order found their influence as well. It was nice to see, that for once they weren't big, brutish knights, but an actual shadow collective. It's even better with the Order of Ancients, since it goes to show literally ANYONE can be a Templar...scary.
damn the timing! i just got done finishing every ac game on 100% (except rpgs) but i felt so bad blasting through origins' main story and seeing how loved it is im going to try to achieve 100% completion
The only bad things I can think of are the lack of finishers and that you had to upgrade the hidden blade
I didn't like being given tons of loot and having to switch out my weapons every 5 minutes
yeah when only finisher animation for last enemy. always boring ragdoll dead look suck.
Yeah, in regards to your gear upgrades it was nothing else but a one, big grind. I spent a lot of time to gather needed materials to upgrade my hidden blade, bracers and other things. Hunting for specific animals was a huge pain in the ass, especially when some of them had only 1 leather in them. It was especially grindy in The Curse of The Pharaophs DLC were you had to collect those grey crystals to upgrade your gear to maximum. Those crystals were quite hard to find when you already finished the game. I had to roam around the afterlife worlds to find enough of them.
you could make the hidden blade a one hit kill with uplay. you can't do that anymore since they updated the app, so you have to edit some files to get it to work.
That's right, and as long as you are not at the maximum level there are enemies that you cannot kill at first with the hidden blade, that set me back a little in the story but it didn't give me that much of a problem.
Origins ended up being one of my favourite AC games, I bought it on release but never ended up playing it until 2021. Such a great game
Such a good game
Been playing it for the first time finally and I like it. I do miss the more complex parkour of 2 and all but with how the world is laid out you don’t really need it.
Soundtracks was somethin special... iam almost crying hearing that. game was so emotional. i love that. and i love ancient egypt with elements to explore like tombs, piramids, temples, mysterious events, big fortesses and others... just for me the best game that brings so many memories, good memories... Bayek
You touched on it a bit, and I agree, but part of what makes Origins so good is the story: The hook itself is simple and straightforward while also not allowing itself to get watered down by side quests and stories and allowing the main character to evolve. Also Bayek and Aya, what a couple, how I wish we could've played more as Aya like they did in Syndicate
Playing through it right now, almost done but just started Curse of the Pharaohs DLC. Absolutely looooooooove this game
I loved Origins it was personally My favorite out of the three recent RPG's!😁
I loved this game when it came out .. I usually rush through AC games main storylines & skip side missions or side content but I knew I was getting close to beating this game & to prolong it just did any side content I could to keep playing
I am so glad that someone is talking about this masterpiece in 2023 one of the best assassin's creed game ever this game not only reveal the origin of the brotherhood but also we met one of the best protogonist in all AC frenchise I mean come on bayek of siwa confronting his enemies with rage and brutality also romantic and being friendly with kids
For me he is the best❤️😘
recently got the season pass, planning to replay and 100% this masterpiece for the 2nd time!!
Just bought it last week on clearance... looks great and love it.
Origins was my first AC game. Fantastic to say the least.
Playing it right now! This is one of my favorites games EVER.
When you do the star missions with Bayek's son that's where you'll see him pretty calm and happy, those specific moments however happy they and calming they are it makes you very sad since his son died.
I loved this game so much. So much that I platinumed it. Definitely Top 5.
I'll play Odyssey soon. Currently in a break from AC to prevent burnout.
They could still do a Bayek or/and Aya game later, im still holding on to the hope for that. It would be great as you said to see the development and even beyond Eqypt.
Literally just started a new playthrough on my pc the other day cuz I haven’t played it since my ps4 days and it’s CRISPY
this game is a perfect mix with rpg and stealth. i truly connect with bayek and i can't believe it's already 5 years one of the best ac i played
Bayek is my Favorite AC character(even more than ezio), maybe also being Egyptian makes me biased but he felt much more well rounded, and if given the chance of 2 more games he will easily bypass Ezio in popularity and character development. (I'm also a big GOW fan, and Bayek felt like an Egyptian Kratos, so I liked him even more for that)
bayeks pure rage is too relatable. it contrasts well with the love he feels for aya and his son. its the most human aspect about him.
This game is my favourite in the series, it was the only game that made me want to 100 percent complete it I still play it to this day so happy late birthday Origins!
Playing through the AC games for the first time right now and I'm really looking forward to this one.
Have been on a new full playthrough for a week now. Looks amazing on my pc.
Best story part yet: getting the old champion a new job.
AC3 Remastered and AC Origins are my favorite AC games form the series. I have 30 days played for both games and I continue to play them.
I recently played this game and all I can say is wow I became so lost in ac origins world and I loved every second of it
origins is my favourite game of all time...and i still have it installed in my pc and explore the vast world once in a while
I've been looking forward to this
I’m also replaying origins at the moment. recently bought a ps5 and never had a ps before so I am playing through all of them. Currently up to origins and it’s so sick bro defo the last good ac game
I know this is going to be a good video and happy birthday origins
What I win
I loved playing this game upon release, but I did think I did play more of Odyssey, but I still think origins is my number one favorite only because it was the first assassin’s Creed game I ever got to play in the series and yes I know I’m late in traffic and I got caught up it’s just vibrant and beautiful. It feels like you’re really there in Egypt. And I love Egypt mythology. I play it off and on every year or two.
I remember when it first came out, i was like "i'm sure that i will never play it", i thought it was a huge thing because of how many details it has 😅. Great game.
My favourite AC. Egypt is my "home" and I love coming back to this game. In fact I am gonna launch it now!
my fav part of ACOrigins is to just walk around between missions, slowly walking and study the surroundings, guessing of purpose of things, the constructions. This isemi-action game, semi-vacation for me))
I remember liking Origins but I don’t think I initially loved it as much as other games in the series. It’ll definitely be worth a replay sometime. I did like Bayek as a protagonist tho and would have been happy with him getting a sequel. Would’ve really loved to see a full game playing as Amunet though
My first Assassin Creed game that I completed. I had previously played the original game and some of the sequel but my controller broke during the penultimate boss fight in Altair's story and I got frustrated and quit on a certain assassination mission in Ezio's. But I always meant to go back and finish those. In 2017, I bought a cheap pc optimized for gaming and the first game I played was Origins. It was the first 60fps game I ever played and the story and gameplay were a perfect match at the time for me. Because of this game, it has made me want to go back and play all the AC games to experience the culture and immersion of each time period while exploring the overall lore of the universe between the Brotherhood and Templars.
Origins saved AC for me. Great game.
The reveal trailer with the Leonard Cohen song was so cool
My favorite part of AC: Origins is the crafting and gathering in this game. Early on I often go well out of my way to gather up crafting resources. I usually have some very highly crafted armor n equipment before meeting Aya for the first time. You should see my when I'm upgrading the Hidden Blade all at once. I only slow down in my crafting when I can't get enough carbon crystals.
Me too with crafting , AND THEN I remembered that there are 3 carbons per box in Sinai DLC... FYI :)
@@6Tbone---I remember that about the Sinai DLC. I thought that was a nice feature.
Really hope we get to see bayek again somehow. Maybe multiverse style assassin reunion type game. I know its a tired trope but bayek and the spanish assassins would be so cool to see in another mainline game.
I recently played origins, I'm currently playing Odyssey trying to finish it cause I stopped halfway through the last time, but I wanna grit my teeth and keep going despite my frustrations with the game
I'm only now playing AC Origins fir the first time, and OMG I'm obsessed 😍 I'm 120 hours of play time in and I'm loving it all! Quite a few rage inducing fights 😂
Just started origins, still figuring out the combat system
I just started playing ac origins and i love it
Valhalla is my fav of the rpgs but I just picked up origins today and I look forward to it
Happy late birthday, Origins!!! You're my favorite
My best AC game up there with 2 is Origins. 100% it when it came out in 2017, just loved it!
I am going to start playing Origins next month. I beat Valhalla last night at 150 hours of play time and I loved it all highly because of the time period it takes place. I’ve never been into the Egyptian or in Ancient Greece eras so I feel like those two games might feel forced but I hope I like them story wise.
I purchased this game september last year and I can't get enough of it.. I still have to start new game plus. I gained 9 ability points after reaching level 55. I'm not purchasing odyssey until the price drops to next to nothing.
i replayed origins a couple months ago on my PC (i played it long ago on the Original Xbox One) and the game looks AMAZING. i would say it’s up there with unity’s graphics
this game also had the coldest opening and im so excited to see it again
Assassin's Creed origins was the first assassin Creed game that I played and it made me want to play the other assassins Creed game like syndicate unity Valhalla rogue and black flag and AC3 assassin's Creed 2 and brotherhood and now I'm playing Revelation because of origin
5:35 - Also, most Egyptian civilians wear only basic linen cloth, so Bayek in full armor would always stand out, so the only realistic way to feature social stealth in Origins would be if it used the AC Liberation system where it would be outfit dependant - regular armor for access to weapons and equipment, civilian outfit for crowd blending but limited weapons, and perhaps Egyptian soldier outfit for infiltrating forts.
i am playing it now and doing the dlcs and i have to say the game is amazing especially with modern day pcs .
amunet started as a statue in marios vault, i started playing ac2 for the first time recently and ive been wondering, what if they used the individuals who were memorialized there and turn them into protagonists of their own games. we already have origins covered but id love to see the rest of em taken on as well so that maybe the vault could have a higher meaning of sorts.
Happy birthday assassins creed origins and may the creed guide you
Nothing is true
Everything is permitted
We walk in the dark to serve the light
We are assassins.
Origins is by far my fav. AC game. I re-Played it like 4-5 times.
I like the term "RPG Creeds" haha that will make it easier to discuss this topic with my friends
