It really helped me out but I still have issues with it. I downloaded some hairstyles and a body mod, at first the hairstyles worked but after I downloaded more hairstyles and clothes I have an issue with the hairstyles that worked before it doesn't show the hair completly :( The body mod worked but I had to delete it because some clothing was bugged. I will try it with the Dalamud and it would be so nice if you help me with the body mod :)
And btw your character looks so cool :D and sorry for my bad english :D

Do I need Dalamudcrashhandler? I see it running in Task Manager and I don't see any use for it other than clogging my XIVlauncher folder with useless txt files. I have not had a game crash since moving onto a Xeon workstation class desktop with a GTX 1080 and 32 gb of quad channel memory. I'm using Penumbra and LOTS of mods and dalamud plugins.
do you have to have TexTools to install mods? i'm brand new to modding and have no clue how to get this to work lol. i have penumbra installed and that's about it. any help would be greatly appreciated
Same! There's mods that needs textools so yeah but there are mods that don't need textools and uses Penumbra instead. And then there are mods that can be used with both. It depends on the creator.
I been haivng some issues with a couple of mods ill download some and then it wont show up when i try to import the icon is just a page when it downloads and not as the ff14 icon is there something i am missing or not doing right and also when i use the gear mods for clothes my character appears completely transparent ironically weapons work just find, any advice would be helpfull and greatly appreciate it ^^ ♥and also appreciate the video it was too helpful
All my stuff shows up as invisible, tried both ways of installing with penumbra and textools, shows up green and saying no errors but its invisible please help :(

Hi, I'm running into a problem where i can mod my females alt but none of my male alts. Since you're using a Bunboi for your example I was hoping to get help from your video but nothing works. I use Bibo+ for my mods and am what bod mods you use for your males unless there's a way to get Bibo to work for males too. Ty!
Have you linked them through Mare? With each Alt you have to register them in /mare!
I have found that many people can use actions with animations, not just in GPOSE. How is this achieved?

Nah, just don't openly talk about using them and you will be fine! Friends are okay as long as they are crime friendly. Try to use the word 'Mods' as little as possible lol We call it Crimes or MoonMagic ^_^

The only problem with this I have is that when I try to apply the glamour, it just turns the part completely invisible?
It might be either there's some conflict that's preventing the necessary mod for the glamour to show or you are missing the mod necessary for the glamour to show.
I tried downloading a file from xivmodarchive, however it shows up as a 7Z instead of TTMP2. Anyway I can change and or work with this? New to this so not quite sure how everything works yet.
You need to download a unzip program. I am not around atm but when i get up I can look and see what i use!

Yeah! Glamourer is a plugin that you can make and save outfits so you can see them 24/7
so when using it; I don’t see a mod folder. Do I need to make a folder or something.

Are animation mods all client side or can everyone see it?
If you have Mare, everyone can see all of your mods including the dances. But, they have to have your mare code or linkshell

Can you play with your friends with mods or will you get banned?
You will get banned no matter what if you get reported and they find mods on your account. Like I said, you keep it hush hush and to your close friends mostly and you will be ok lol

penumbra and glamourer does not show up at all
penumbra isnt textools. penumbra is thru dalamud. highly recommend that over textools as textools will constantly give you dx11 errors. every day.

@@mimexion You can type /glamourer and /penumbra to open them! If they still don't show, I would try undowloading and redownloading!

@@Siren_111_ okay nevermind, i redid that step and now it shows penumbra after refreshing my installed plugins list.
@@Siren_111_ I followed all instructions but my character turns invisible when i enable the mod and redraw my character lol.
@@hollycannabis416 in the 'changed items' is there more than one thing listed? If so, right click the items until one of them show the mod. It should be attached to at least one item showing

I wish I could mod on my ps5. I hate how ugly all the characters are and how awful the hairstyles in the game are. Modded hairstyles and ears for my viera man would be great.

Horrible tutorial, like if you are going to help how to put mods into the game which is literally your tittle, then actually show and explain how to do it. You are going over things very quick just kind or showing off your mods. Not really doing much, if you want to help do it right.😂
