I am a huge Elvis, and Lisa Marie Presley fan , and i will not see the Priscilla movie, because it's based on Priscilla lies, and she just mad because they didn't give her character in the new Elvis movie more time!!! She wants to be bigger than Elvis, but that will never happened. Also Lisa Marie didnt want her to make the Priscilla movie. Also i been seeing in the trailer for the Priscilla movie that Elvis threw a chair at her, but that was not true, and it has be debunked!!!😊

Thank-you for defending Elvis as a human being with strengths and weaknesses. He was also self-reflective and clearly Priscilla is not. Despite the age difference, I don't think she could ever catch up to Elvis's level of maturity and wisdom. Her film seems stunted and stagnant. In my opinion, not a "good look" for Priscilla.

She made him out to be a monster in That priscilla. Movie, made him an abuser etc things that weren't in her book . . She shouldn't be allowed in the burial ground with Elvis.. it's Elvis & his families home nit hers she's not abpresley & not family Marco Garibaldi is her family a man she lived with as man & wife fir 22 yrs & had a son as a product of that love. & that's where her eternal life should be with. Graceland IS A HOME for presley only , NOT a cemetery for Ex WIFE.

Good video. I won't be wasting time or money to see any movie about Priscilla. I wish Billy Smith and other members of the Smith side of Elvis' family would have a moviemaker approach them about making a truthful, factual film about Elvis' life before they all die.

Hi Emiel! Amnesia, dementia, or just trying to rewrite history in her favour, it's become so tiresome. She flip flops more than a politician. Right after Lisa died she was in court saying she questions the validity of the will, of the signature, of that being Lisa's wish, etc. Two minutes after the settlement and her big payoff, she said - Of course Riley should be the only executor! That's how it should be!!! You can get dizzy from her. It's amazing to me that at this point, anyone can take her seriously, yet there are still people in groups who adore her and think she can do no wrong. Go figure.

Long ago, I began to question her version of events in Elvis and Me. A book which we all accepted as accurate and true at the time since no one was closer to Elvis. There was no reason to doubt Priscilla's account of their life together at its publishing in 1985. Child Bride cast a shadow of doubt over far too much simply because some things she said cannot be refuted. Either she was alone with Elvis or any witnesses are dead or would be deemed as lacking credibility.

Thank you for reporting the storyline on Priscilla telling Dolly Parton about Elvis singing her song "I will always Love you" while walking out of the divorce court. Too bad the entertainment media didn't do their research to find out the truth but then I'm not surprised because there's many stories that are distorted ! I for one will NOT see the onesided " R" rated movie !!!!
We - as Elvis fans - do the research and know the story..., but the big tabloids only do a simple copy-paste job.
I may have a small channell..., but the truth had to be told by me...

Great news report as always. Priscilla really has mis-stepped and mis-judged her place in Elvis history among fans, yes we are thankful to her for her work in saving Graceland and keeping his memory alive in the early years after his death but now she seems to think that we care so much more about her than Elvis. What really annoys me about this movie is that Elvis has absolutely no comeback to answer her as he is long dead and his one protector is also now gone Lisa Marie, I wish she had been around, it might have been interesting to hear if she had something to say. We all know Elvis was human and we all have things in our lives that we wish we could undue, Elvis lived in a far more elevated and intense world than any of us do and so his actions will always have been far more extreme. If Priscilla is buried at Graceland she will be a target for fans who want to make their feelings known. On more positive note Baz you are a legend, can not wait to see what he has in store, he is possibly the best thing to happen in the Elvis story for decades aside from Ernst Jorgensen. The trivia answers - a really nice idea for the trivia, 1st - A2 Pictogram and the 2nd Harder one this but I am going with B3 I think I can fit the others into the song list. Like I told in the previous video : " If life in Graceland was such a struggle and prison for Priscilla, then it baffles me that she would want to be buried on the grounds of Graceland so close to the man she divorced? " . What happened inside of her head!?? /// I agree with you about Baz. He looks eccentric, but he is indeed the best thing that happened to us Elvis fans in the past years. And it made me a little sad that all the good work Baz did with his ELVIS (2022) film... is now being undermined by the Priscilla film. But let's not rush things too much. I still have to see if the visitor numbers will be high. The film will not be appreciated by Elvis fans, because they know that the truth lies somewhere in the middle. And I don't actually know anyone from my Elvis circle who will see the film. I'll be curious to know how high (or how low!) the visitor numbers will be. P'zilla Beaulieu was not responsible for Graceland, therefore, had no authority to "save" it. She was merely a temporary guardian with limited power where EPE and Graceland were concerned. She's been taking credit for others' work since Elvis' father Vernon died.....I'm amazed people are still ignorant and believe her lies.
@@Elvista While I am not much of a Priscilla fan, I think you not informed and are under estimating her involvement with Graceland. After Vernon died Priscilla became a trustee (Lisa was too young) In 1979 when Vernon passed away, Priscilla was informed by Elvis's accountant that the upkeep of Graceland was about $400,000 a year and with no steady income, which would have been generated by Elvis if he were alive the estate was in financial peril. In 1981 she hired Jack Soden who has been a tremendous asset to EPE and they opened the doors of Graceland to the public and thus they saved it from having to be sold. In 10 years they turned a massive negative financial situation into a $75 million estate befitting Lisa Marie the daughter of Elvis. Since then it has gone on to huge success. She also with Soden took Parker and RCA to court to get something back from the 73' deal that sold all of Elvis's royalties to RCA and won a modest but nonetheless victory. So while we may not love Priscilla and a lot of what she has done in the years since Graceland opened are very questionable, she was the right person in the right place in 1980 and we as fans have an amazing experience to visit the place where Elvis called home. Great show Emiel. I totally agree with your verdict on Elvis’ relationship with Priscilla. She was a blot on his life and played a part in his downfall. Probably the worst match imaginable. And once it started he was trapped and forced to marry against his will. I found it disturbing how she blackmailed her granddaughter into agreeing to her Graceland burial, under the threat of a lengthy court case to retain control of his estate. Lisa was the only good thing that came out of that unholy union.

I’m not seeing the the movie. I suggest people read Child Bride which will show you glimpses of the real Priscilla played out as we’ve watched her as an adult and especially how she’s acted after Lisa Marie’s death. Most Elvis fans on different Elvis channels have said they’re not going. Thanks so much as usual, you ALWAYS give us information we haven’t heard. Very interesting story on the Dolly Parton story. One by one her lies keep getting debunked. I’ve watched her interviews & she’ll say something derogatory about Elvis with a smile and then will say he was the love of my life. That’s not how you keep a loved one’s memory ? By sounding like a bitter, jealous woman who’s running out of ideas on how to cash in on the Presley name. How sad. I hope her burial at Graceland can somehow legally be changed with a legal loophole. Thanks again. 😊❤❤❤

Speaking of Suspicious Minds (as you did in the video), my favorite version of the song is from the Viva Elvis CD. I watched the chat at a later moment and I saw your message in which you said hello to me. I did not react...simply because I was somewhere else at that moment. Next month I will be there (of course!).
I cannot believe that within 48 hours from now I will be in London. It is a strange thought I know..., but everything is booked: flight, hotel and tickets to the concert and the museum. It is going to be special that is one thing for sure.

From the short clip, sounds like the remix of 'Suspicious Minds' is the 'Viva Elvis' version. Re Priscilla, the 'The Best of Elvis In Concert', now touring the UK - I saw it in Glasgow - has a thankfully short, but still lamentably risible, video section devoted to her to the accompaniment of 'Anthing That's Part of You'. That, and the equally awful Jerry Schilling video, which in essence is a tourist video for Graceland, came close to ruining the entire event. I am sick of hearing about her; sick of her self-absorbed narrative which, at best, can be described as the figment of an extraordinary imagination; sick of how she single-handely 'saved' Graceland, when the credit should be Joseph Rascoff's and Jack Soden's. Regrettably, Linda doesn't receive anywhere-near the same focus - even not appearing at all in the Baz Luhrmann film - despite being ineffably more intelligent, thoughtful and insightful than Priscilla; of always speaking and writing about Elvis so lovingly and positively, and having a life that wasn't simply predicated upon narcissistic exploitation of someone she loved and who tragically could never defend himself. The terribly sad fact is that without Linda, Elvis may have not lived as long as he did, and, had she not left left him in November '76, he may have lived longer. An incredible woman. Elvis deserved and needed so much more than Priscilla.

I agree with everything you said about your opinion of the movie and their relationship it made no sense. I love Ann Margret her biography is well worth reading she has never divulged any of her private memories of Elvis kudos to her she is one classy lady! They would have been better matched that said Elvis being Elvis would have cheated on her too she was better off being married to Roger Smith.
I hope her movie is a flop the trailer looks absolutely horrible and the actors amateur.

I took a ton of photos the iconic Aloha suit..., but I was also very impressed with the Dragon Suit, which is really is a piece of art when looking at in detail. -- Now about the trip home... I have to confess that flying NOT a hobby of mine (to say the least). So you pretty much have an idea about my situation when we had to land in a storm on Schiphol Airport. (Man.., I cursed so much! Me thinks Elvis was pretty manipulative over Pricilla and got so fixed on the prize when as you said, a more experienced woman would have been a better sexual challenge for him and the two may have blossomed together. Daar treedt Alan Power a/t Aftershocks op. Deze gast moet je echt gezien hebben. 22 jaar en al zo veel stage power en charisma! Zijn set bestaat uit 50% elvis nummers en het ademt de sfeer uit van Elvis in 1954 en 1955. Echt heel speciaal om te zien!

As always Emiel very informative.I know im being greedy but alongside "On Tour" and T.T.W.I.S. there must be hours of outakes from his other films where he makes a mistake or laughs in the wrong place with the director saying CUT.
Hi Chris ! Yes you are being greedy :-) !! (Only kiddin' Chris!). I am afraid those outtakes ended up in the bin! (How did they know back then that 50 years later fans would want to see those out-takes? ) . On the other hand I do know that Jerry Shilling said that he has some film with outtakes rescued from the bin. Jerry worked for a while as a film cutter (also on Elvis's movies) and I think I read somewhere that he has some unseen film in possession. @@33chrishart Hi Chris, That is exactly the reason why I am not buying the books or Erik Lorentzen..., man .. those FTD book sets are already heavy.., but those Lorentzen releases are topping those in weight! On the other hand, - but that is personal - I do buy at times new Elvis bootlegs or stuff, but not as many as I used to do. Nowadays I focus on the big FTD book / cd sets. I always buy them when they are released, because if you wait too long the prices are going up rapidly. (You have no idea what people are asking for the ' A Boy From Tupelo ' box set). --- You are correct about the TTWII and On Tour outtakes. But please bear in mind that the TTWII footage was shot on 16 mm and that On Tour was shot with 8 mm cameras. On Tour is a bit 'grainy' because of that. "In 1973 when Elvis Presley was preparing for the Aloha from Hawaii concert.There was a competition in Australia on a late night tv show by an American host called the Don lane show.They were running a competition for 2 tickets to fly the winners over to Hawaii to see this concert & be Elvis Presley special guest from Australia.Anyway they had a swimming pool full of entries.I think it was full with over 10,000 entries.My aunty Dawn O'Brien was making 2 cups offer tea 1 for her & 1 for her brother while the tv was on the Don lane show in the lounge room when they pulled out her envelope & said & the winner is Dawn O'Brien live on Australian tv and she said she froze & dropped the cups of tea smashing them on the kitchen floor!!! So anyway her husband was away driving a truck around Australia working before mobile phones.So she automatically stressed because they only had a couple of Days before leaving Australia to fly to Hawaii for the satellite Aloha concert.So they eventually found her husband and got there stuff together & of they went to Hawaii.Now Elvis Presley was aware of the Australian concert promotion.So she & hubby had front row seats."Elvis gave my Aunty Dawn a scarf during the concert"!!! "He also gave my Aunty Dawn a signed program book of Elvis performing live "!!! "Elvis Presley " signed the program him self.My aunty Dawn was supposed to meet"Elvis Presley "!!! Your aunt's scarf is a collectors item and worth money! I hope you are preserving it correctly so that it doesn't deteriorate prematurely. A number of Elvis' garments and accessories are carefully stored on Graceland's grounds due to their historical value and are simply priceless and irreplaceable.

Sorry, but Priscilla is the biggest liar of all time. All of the hubbub around the new Priscilla movie, is so annoying. Turbo Feminist Coppola has recreated the original 80's addition of the movie made for tv. All people have to do is read "Child Bride", to see that Priscilla was a 14 year old military brat, with little supervision and a crush on Elvis. She found out that Elvis friend Curry Grant was at a military club and she went there and told Grant who was married that she would do anything to meet Elvis. Sadly he took her up on her offer and had an intimate relationship with her even having pictures made together, and a affair for several weeks. Finally she did get to meet Elvis and he thought she was beautiful but left shortly after that and came back to the states. He didn't contact her for almost 3 months. Finally he left her and her son. She also put Lisa in Scientology when only 12 and left her there for months. They never had a good relationship, Lisa would later say that Elvis was the only one who protected her. this new movie will probably rake in more money. She is the riches xwife there is. I think P., is a controlling & manipulative sick person. There is a mentally something wrong with her. Elvis, once said she was a cold fish. And he was right, she has no love for no one. Wikipedia says Dolly Parton wrote the Song in 1973 and recorded it in June 1973 at RCA Records in Nashville There is a possibilty that Elvis heard the Song before it was published in April 1974.
That is exactly what I told…, but Priscilla never would have recognized the song as it was not released at the day of her divorce. So her statement does not make sense.

That happened to Elvis when he showed his new song that he was going to release . He played the song "Memphis Tennessee" to Johnny Rivers & Johnny went behind his back & recorded the song. So am sure Dolly & other artist protect their new release.
Plus Elvis would also record songs & not release the song for months !!!

As for his professional life which was extremely demanding, when you consider the amount he achieved within his private circle esp in Graceland, he may have been in charge like an army sergeant - Priscilla Presley nee Beaulieu, has been extremely successful in using the 'Presley' name for her own ends. Appearing in many highly paid movies, having a lifestyle of the rich and famous, with many affairs and being successful in business, awards and charity work. Married, pregnant and then divorced from Elvis, was she in some way a reason for him to work as hard as he did after 1973 to pay for the separation? This question is rarely asked. Would she have ever become famous, successful in her own right? She has the executive producer rights to the film 'Priscilla'. This seems to be somewhat hypocritical, as her entire success has originated out of the simple fact, she was married to Elvis Presley.

Dolly said what Priscilla told her. That is what I am telling in the video. And I won’t be watching the Priscilla movie as I will not be writing/making a review of it. P., is a bitch, been living with his money since he die. Yet she hates him. It shows in this movie,& all her lies.
I’d like to see the film in spite of the negative light it casts on Elvis. I read Priscilla‘s book and there wasn’t much negativity in it about him so I don’t really understand why Sofia Coppola took this route in making Elvis look like an almost monster in the film about Priscilla. It bothers me and I agree with the host of this show that she was not the right wife for him although I’m sure he was smitten with her and vice versa, I just don’t think they were compatible. I wasn’t there and didn’t see them together, however from what I have read and seen in films she just didn’t seem to be the right one for him. I don’t know who would have been as Elvis was doing as he pleased and was an amazing star, an amazing talent, great singer, dancer and entertainer and whoever would have been married to him would have had to take a back seat to him unless they were a star of that magnitude themselves. This is just my opinion and again I do want to see the movie however I will not judge Elvis no matter what negative like they cast him in because I love & adore him

The book came out in the 80s tv movie was made and this movie is made from her POV usually the truth lies somewhere in btw but everyone who knew Elvis knew he had a violent temper. He was human a fact that ppl forgot. He did the best he could. She was obsessed with him and when he turned from her to the road she moved on with her life. He couldn’t ever be faithful to one woman. This movie is still way better than the hack job that was put out with all the women 😡
She told Elvis she loved another man and wanted a divorce.She flaunted her illicit affair in public and humiliated him.He did not flaunt any if his to embarrass her.Her relationship with another man will not be in the movie because she is the "angel."
