- Pray the St Andrew Christmas Novena. This Advent Novena begins on November 30 and is prayed until Christmas Eve ending on Dec 24. The Christmas Novena honours the Birth of Jesus by praying 15 times a day the following prayer.
Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born of the most pure Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in the piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, I beseech Thee, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires through the merits of Our Savior Jesus Christ, and of His blessed Mother.

I remember way back in the 50's when I was in high school the entire school prayed this Novena--but I don't think we prayed it for the whole month and we only said it once a day--but I have never forgotten it..
Our teachers taught us this. The German nuns taught them.
