I hate all these Fiona vs Marie comments about who was more powerful. They don’t really compare. It’s rumored that the witches got their power from Tituba, the Salem Slave Witch, but considering that there are things Marie can do that Fiona can’t and things Fiona can do that Marie can’t, they obviously wield different magic and can’t be compared and in the end they needed to team up to beat Michael anyway. To me the best parts are when they’re united and having both magics under one roof is the most effective.
I love how she’s furious, but also crying. So many layers to her character with just those actions. Fear, anger, disgust, betrayal all wrapped up in a few moments. What an artist Jessica Lange is!
