This movie came out when Lee Marvin was at his best, with Cat Ballou, Paint Your Wagon Red I think was it with Clint Eastwood, Dirty Dozen, a whole catalogue of movies and a vet ( Marine in ww2)
Love it! Good script with some great one liners and scenes. A solid slapstick western. Oliver Reed is fantastic. Him playing an Indian. Who would of thought?
Thank You for that. .. I needed something like this. How did i miss this when younger, now 60 ,.. 1st time seeing , well put together .. score , scenery , storyline etc.
Great movie, a western with comedy !!! Many movies like this are played by Lee Marvin( and i love it). Thank you, i saw this movie for the first time !!! Now i’m relaxed and happy !!! L.M.

As opposed to, what? Today's one-trick ponies? Today's movies that use the same script and characters repeatedly and package or market it differently under a new title? I think it would be safe to say that it was great fun for them. Fun: noun - enjoyment, amusement, or light-hearted pleasure. Farce: noun - a comic dramatic work using buffoonery and horseplay and typically including crude characterization and ludicrously improbable situations. Satire: noun - the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.

Lee Marvin and Oliver Reed ...holy cow, must have set a booze record which still stands😅
Reportedly, they had a drinking contest that Reed won only after Marvin passed out after ten hours.
Key Lenz was married to David Cassidy from 1977 - 1983!
She was pretty hot in this movie
Reed and Marvin on the same set?!...w0w! what a cocktail!🤔🍻🥳🥴
Yea strother martin
Yep. That upped it a notch.
Strother Martin, Oliver Reed and Lee Marvin, Wow how sweet.
"You're lying"
"How do you know?"
"Your lips are moving."

Why are all your uploads so dark? Do you purposely remove all contrast from them?
…must be a flop spin-off from paint your wagon
'Great Scout' was a very popular film on the Drive-in circuit in 1976, certainly not a flop.

Cat Ballou!
Do you mean a spinoff some 12 years later? I shouldn't imagine so.

fun movie but symptomatic of the times--it treats prostitution as a quaint joke, not the brutal degrading slavery it was.
The women are making an honest living. No harm in that.
the harm is done to the women.
Anyone who thinks prostitution is a victimless crime is living in the 1800s.

You need to look up the historical account of prostitution in the old west. The madams established churches, and schools.
