All-Star Sports - NEW Refurbished Room Tour - 2 Queen Beds Preferred Room

- This is a full room tour of a newly refurbished Preferred Room at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. The rooms as this resort are currently being refurbished in the same style as the other All-Star resorts, and the project will not be completed until sometime in 2023. Because of this, you may still receive a non-refurbished room when checking into All-Star Sports. Only buildings 7 and 10 are currently completed.
The new rooms have either 2 queen beds, one of which is a pull-down Murphy bed, or a king bed that is accessible. We love the new refurbishment and are excited to see it completed in 2023.
All of the rooms at All-Star Music and All-Star Movies have been refurbished with the exact same layout and theming. The only difference is that All-Star Music has Family Suites available, which you can see in our tour below.

The Murphy beds are such a great design. So much more room and they very comfortable 🥱zzzzzz
They really are! And if there’s only 1 or 2 people in the room, it allows the extra space without another bed being in the way. 😊

Stood at All Star Music this past week!!! It's great!!! I love it!! Not my first pick, but definitely fulfills the Disney magic! All Star Sports looks exactly the same lol

We are staying at All Star Sports Early Nov 2022 and I just called to make sure a renovated room - Disney Reservation Cast member said these rooms at All Star Sports have not yet been refurbished. The refurbishments that took place during the closing were to main building and exteriors only. So question is - if you saw in person this refurbished room - was it in process throughout the entire resort? Was just a few refurbished? Can you please be more specific on the extent of the refurbishment.

There are no standard rooms refurbished right now, so the only way to get a remodeled room is to book a preferred room and request building 7 or 10. But with only half the preferred rooms being done, it’s a 50/50 chance of getting. But not impossible 😊

Where could you place a pack n play here? We are staying one night in Nov. We are getting in late and didn't want to pay full price for a delux. We'll be heading to Wilderness for the remainder of our stay but feeling nervous about where to place the pack n play!
In front of the window would be the best “out of the way” location. There isn’t a ton of space in these rooms, so you may need to rearrange a few things to make it comfortable for everyone.
Avoid the pack n play on grounds at all costs! The one they put in our room was a disgrace. The "mattress" was entirely too small like 3-4 inches around the edges. Then they offered us a regular flat bed sheet to wrap the mattress in - completely against all safe sleep recommendations for babies. I was fuming.
Do they have disney+ on the tv? I feel like they should.
No. We always bring our AppleTV if we want to watch something.
Really wanted to see how the bed is pulled down.....🤷♀️
