I was raised Roman Catholic - so I'm going to add here because a lot has been watered down in what is being repeated now. Lilith wasn't just a first wife. She and Adam were made from the same dirt. When she refused to submit to him- she LEFT the garden. She was never banished. Adam threw a fit and suddenly some "angels" appeared. They said they were sent by god and would get her back.
When they approached her they told her to return to the garden and submit to Adam. She refused.
She said they were made from the same earth, he has no power over her.
So, they tried to get her to change her mind by telling her they would reek havoc on the earth and all of it's inhabitants unless she returned to Adam. If she refused they would blame her for it and let everyone know they were suffering because she disobeyed. She still refused. She was blamed. They tried again threatening that all of her future kids will be monsters if she doesn't return to the garden. She refused.
Later, she's on an island with all of her monster kids and the Christians didn't think her kids deserved to live. So, they slaughtered them. In her grief, she returned the favor. "Lullaby" comes from Lilith. She would kill their babies, curse bloodlines, seduce men, all sorts of things. They kept everything "Lilith" had done and spread the news far and wide, but none of which they had done to cause the situations.
You can see a lot of old Pagan stories mixed into these stories along with really bad timelines. Adam and Lilith were the only people, then suddenly, there's a whole world of people. How she got to the garden to the 'wilderness' to an island - I have no idea. But, now I know why they made us skip around while reading the bible. John here, skip to Revelations there, now New Testament. If you read every passage like a book, page by page, it makes no sense. It has hypocrisy after hypocrisy and discrepancy after contradiction.

Hey. I am a Mórrígan bard of the Goidelic tradition (Irish, Scottish, the Isle of Mann). We are devotees of the Tuatha dé Danann. I know the folks you encountered. I am so sorry they spoiled your journey if even a little bit. You are right, an Mórrígan and the whole of the Tuatha dé have reached out to us folks on Turtle Island. You are welcome, always welcome to explore an Mórrígan and the Tuatha dé Danann to your heart's content. She is a... wow, how to describe Herself. That's a book or a video all to itself.
Your understand of Herself is very good. I liked what you had to say. I liked your comparison between an Mórrígan and Lilith. You're right. No one owns these Goddesses, and it only makes sense that they would reach to people (particularly women) across the globe during these times. Gatekeeping should be abolished. I have a complete copy of The Morrigan and Her Germano-Celtic Counterparts by Angelique Gulermovich Epstein, if you want to read it. It's a wonderful document and the bibliography has great sources. If you can't find source-culture folks in Ireland, look in Scotland.
There's just one little thing. an Badb is pronounced Bive. It's empowering to utter Her name. Thank you for your video, and I wish you well on your path.

This was excellent, and I’m hard to please. It was well planned, none judgemental and clearly presented by someone who has spent a lot of time researching then translating that information to make sense of the different nuances of both goddesses in a none elitist way. A brilliant introduction. Highly recommended for those who get overwhelmed by all the different sources contradicting and gate keeping their own interpretations as a be all and end all. So thank you, I hope your channel goes from strength to strength. Xxx

@@thelilithverse i guess like presenting vocabulary and ways of expression beyond trite that make speech juicier and add glamour. You see most of the people’s speech is limited to a certain set of words and expressions. They understand a lot more beyond that when they read probably, they would understand the meaning when they encounter other expressions in other people’s speech and writing but are not as comfortable using them in their own speech and even writing.
You present these less commonly (and thus more original and more likely to cause sparks expressions), present synonyms and then examples of contextual use, usage examples (where your scripts may come in handy) while also presenting contrast of how that textual panorama would sound and look like if more common and trite level terms would be used.
Can have the form of a youtube channel. There youtube channels (meant for more advanced English language learners) in the niche of English beyond basic. But I think it could be presented in a way that’s a bit more artful and may be more immersive.
Or may be in the niche of artful writing. “Take a look at this text. What makes it so alluring? “ Then you pretty much take the same text, substitute a set of words for alternatives and take a look at what impression the text would be giving off then. Or may be you reverse the order and start with a poorer version.
Other forms could be coming up with an app or a course sold through some platform (Courser-a, Khan Academy, Mind Valley or something of the kind).
Why is it so much easier to be giving off business advice to others than execute your own shit?!

    Theologically.
1). Are Morrigan and Catabodua the same deity? Is there a difference b/n Morrigan and Catabodua?
2). Tuatha D Danana-is that a lineage of Celtic deities? Who else is in it besides the Morrigan? What differs them from other races of gods?
3). These liliums in Mesopotamia. Were they like a multitude of imps? How did Mesopotamians work with them?
I know a fool can ask more questions than the wise can answer. Have to make a carving to keep laying the path.

When it comes down to it these ladies were administrators and enforcers.
Lilith policed 'illegal births'. They were trying to keep crazy middle eastern birth rates down because overpopulation spread crime and poverty and was spreading outward attacking other regions creating war. Its not clear what her ethnic source was. If she was Mesopotamian, an Akkadian conqueror, a Babylonian revolter, or a Hittite conqueror. They all went through this region. But someone noticed the problem and wanted to do something about it. She got villainized for it.
Morrigan was a 'border' policeman. They were trying to keep their lands for their peoples and prevent theft of food and resources from overpopulation migration in other regions. Most folks agree the Tuatha were migrants. As were all the first inhabitants of Ireland. There were three travel paths for migrants leaving Greece, through Spain, Italy and Northern Europe. They were all different flavors of Native European. Morrigan's camp came through Northern Europe...when the Fomorians came through Spain and the Fir Bolg came through Italy......but once all the European tribes got there there was a dispute over 'who got to Ireland first'. I believe Tuatha were in the North, Fomorians were in the Middle, and Fir Bolg were in the South. Its funny that all their source regions (Turkey, Spain, Italy) are highly middle eastern blooded now. Not many original Native Europeans there....looks like they were Xenophobic due to Middle Eastern Overpopulation forcing THEM to migrate. They lost one home they didn't want to lose another.
Funny how the ladies had no problem recognizing the migration crisis....and wanted to enforce it, and got villainized for it.
You missed Enodia and Themis in Thessaly, and the Eriynes in Boeotia (both Greece) and Hecate in Turkey. These ladies had similar roles. To a lesser degree you had Ma'at in Egypt...Hecate was the most vigilante of them, though the Eriynes started out that way and got legitimized by Athena. I think the others had more 'government legal approval'....before they held trials.
My blood and family heritage speaks to all of these ladies. There is also Anat. A Syrian warrior "border police" goddess who got kicked around Egypt and Syria from 6000-1200 BC by both African and Asiatic Middle Eastern folks. She feeds me dreams of what she went through. Of migrant bullies, and fertility temples enslavement of women....of racial attack gangs on white folks, poor or sick. Of being forced to fight, move their villages or watch their peoples die. Its not pretty. My European ancestors moved through ALL of the paths these women took to get to Ireland. Scythia (then Scandinavian Kievan Rus, later Bukovina, then Romania/Ukraine). Roman Italy (through Greek settlements near Naples and Sicily). Basque Spain from Greece to Ireland. So I have a feeling some of these ladies are attempting to share their experiences through dream. Maybe I'm of their daughters...or just more receptive and understanding of their experiences.
I just wish more folks would listen to me as I share evidence of what supporting overpopulators, migration displacement does and the problems it creates. Persians in Spain, Romans in Italy and the British Isles that later got moved to Byzantium Turkey, and Turkish Mongols in Kievan Rus, they all just kept invading. They were all the same problematic peoples bred from Middle Eastern Islamic or Jewish stock....creating overpopulation waves not happy with the last lands they stole because they had finished stripping it of resources and creating too many babies they didn't want to feed.
I really hate to hear of "JEWISH" slavery when they were the usurpers who took over my ladies regions after the real slaves were expelled. the Hittites were the Slaves that became overpopulating tyrants. The Jews were the Hyksos invaders with African Asiatic blood who were trying to enslave our European women for sex in their brothels across the middle east and greece if I recall correctly (think they were both I suppose offshoots of Turkish Mongol). Perhaps a second wave of slave we were unaware of. Hittites became a problem when the Jews hit them. this is why I think of the Jews as the Turkish Mongols. When we saw them they were really very wealthy criminals...peddling bullshit and cons. They always 'preceeded' right before the Islamics pushed. Based on their 'religion' we thought THEY were the brothel masters creating the masses of orphans impoverished creating the crimes and causing the problems. We thought they were Islam's con artist soldiers. Let me tell you, with a border police goddess on your shoulder, watching the historical maps of the border slipping is depressing as F.
You witchy ladies were one of two things. Con artists from the Middle East looking for a cash grab as migrants (fake cures or extolling payments to avoid stealing from folks) preying on some local Europeans....or Vigilantes working the border trying to suppress it and extract a toll out of the invaders. The vigilantes were providing abortions, midwifery, funerary rites and medicines to folks who didn't qualify for these based on the invading migrant merchants and politicians holding them out of reach. Some were caught poisoning "migrants", "rapists" or "criminals"...."spouse abusers".
There were also the 'police officers' who spread fear of punishment for enacting crimes. They were messengers, scouts and paramedics. Handled the dangerous chemical "weaponry" if we had to go into battle. That was our ladies. Not strictly witchy. But maybe angry goth women trying to diffuse fights. A lot of these women policed crimes they already experienced. Were officials not vigilantes. Which camp were you in?

I grew up in Ireland and the Morrigan assisted in my first ever shamanic healing in a profound way. Apologies on the behalf of all those weird gate-keepy groups. I'm not an expert but I believe that once you're being respectful and in "right relationship" you should be able to work with any deity. Surely the more people that connect with these deities, the better for society as a whole? Shouldn't we want as many people as possible to be on their healing journey? And shouldn't we want to spread the message of the empowering and healing abilities of these deities? Also, I'm sure many of the people who shut you down believe in past lives, which would mean that you could have lived in Ireland or any other area before. Imagine calling yourself spiritual or mystical while gatekeeping a deity!

And yeah don't listen to those who say that to work with the Morrigan (or other deities from Irish/Celtic mytholohy) you have to be born in Ireland. That's some serious bullshit lol honestly first time hearing that. And I follow some actual Irish pagans and they never told that, only that you have to be respectful to Irish culture and learn from actual trustworthy sources also historical. Gatekeeping deities is such absurd, they choose whom they want to work to not we humans. I've seen that some people try to claim this about Lilith also, how she is Jewish and worshipping her is cultural appropiation. 🤦‍♀️
    That's absolute nonsense...

Lilith was created by the hands of the Hebrew God Yahweh alongside Adam to become husband and wife. Mortal, destined to die as we all shall. Was she cursed and demonized? If the lore says she was, then I have little choice but to agree. I wasn't present at the writing of it. As for the Morrigan? The one the ancient tribal peoples of early Ireland have hailed as the living embodiment of "Battle Lust?" Neither call me. The tales that come down through the ancient Semitic Tribes I have some familiarity with, but share no kinship. I have very little Irish heritage to my knowledge. The myth cycles of those people are also very beautiful, though the Tuatha De Danann that became gods have proven to die even at the hands of mortal hands and weapons, as stated in the "Book Of Invasions". Strange, if you ask me. Thank you for sharing.

    • @domenikkunz9798

Yahweh was a lesser god once, in the caanite pantheon. Lilith is older than the lore of Judaism. The claim that she was created by Yahweh is one of many claims that contradict what we know.
The oldest texts mentioning Lilith are about 4000 years old.
The oldest text that mentions Yahweh is roughly a 1000 years younger.
I am firmly in the believe, that if Yahweh exists, he is pretty much what we would know as the devil, judging by the way he positions himself above the truth alone, and there are many other reasons.

@@MrEpz4321Respectfully, you are wrong. At the same time I understand where you are coming from. The Western world with it's heavy emphasis on reason and logic is heavy influenced by ancient Greek thought. The great irony is that as much as most of the modern world is influenced by the ancient Greeks, what everyone seems to be ignoring is that the ancient Greeks were not just big on rationality and logic, they were also super religious. They were not rational at the expense of the supernatural, but because of it. Those 2 things always complemented each other and were in perfect balance. The Western world is out of balance, which is why it is so chaotic and messed up. Reason and logic was never meant to supplant the supernatural, but to affirm it.
