Champagne is only produced in France, in the Champagne region. It’s a DOC (dénomination d’origine contrôlée), which means only sparkling wines made there can be called champagne. Here we produce sparkling wine with the same methodology (champenoise), but not champagne. The authorization earned by Peterlongo was a decision from our Supreme Court (STF), that has no authority over the denomination.

It's Brazil and why the surprising reaction?lol... we have a very diverse country!!! Brazil has so much more wonderful people and places to visit!!
@@siqueira797 ninguém conhece a Bahia fora daqui.

He should take David to other different good wineries like Betu, Cave Geise, Valduga, Valmarino...
Brazilian bubbles are highly underrated, just need someone to bring them to the states! Thanks for this David!

BUT SORRY, I have to say something about a comment that you did.
Gremio is DEFINITELY NOT the mean soccer time in the city.Gremio is just ONE of them.
I’m Colorada, my soccer team is Internacional. And Internacional, together with Gremio are one of the bests.
Intencional is AS IMPORTANT AS Gremio.
I like so much your experiences here in Brazil, but don’t disappoint me, ok!? 😁
