- looking at the crash and landing videos, I noticed that my ESCs have different propeller brakes and possibly out of calibration. With the power on it pulls left if you just glide it goes straight. Going to use the Smart ESC programmer to check or remove the differential thrust. I'll never buy a used eflite twin without seeing it fly again. Thank you Jeff
What goes up must come down. For the Repairs
New right prop, Right Aileron servo horn.
Glue left vertical, Battery hatch catch, plastic wingtip inserts, both landing gear back into fuselage, and a few cracks in the near the motor nacelle.

@@JeffinLowerAlabama I think they learned a lot from the Beech, and improved the whole twin scheme with the Twin Timber.
@@snoriverrc3842 no doubt but the new EC1500 has the same Dual smart light ESC that you need the Smart ESC Programmer to adjust.
@@JeffinLowerAlabama I havent watched a build video of the EC1500 yet, but the Twimber had all sorts of new connectors, and software. I was really happy with how easy they made things.
@@snoriverrc3842 yes the Twinber you can access the esc settings with forward programing and not smart esc programmer
takes a licking and keeps on ticking 🙂...nice landing ! ...once you get the bugs ironed out; I think you'll really enjoy it !

Nice redemption flight Jeff. A little tweaking and she should be fine!
David I'm sure my ESCs or the settings of the ESCs is what is causing all the issues with my B18. Going to use the Smart ESC programmer to check or remove the differential thrust. I'll never buy a used eflite twin without seeing it fly again. Thank you Jeff
That plane is built like a tank, enjoyed the video and nice landing.👍👍
That is for sure and the landing gear are amazing since mine have been slammed in twice and didn't even bend, popped out without any damage. Have more to do with the ESC and left rudder. Thank you Jeff
Nice job on the fix jeff👍👍👊👊
Travis going to work on the ESC which is still off. Looking at the crash and landing videos, I noticed that my ESCs have different propeller brakes and possibly out of calibration. Jeff. So glad you got your 2 maiden in. You handled it quite well buddy. She likes a little heavier packs. I run 4s 4000 in mine. It’s been awhile since I last flew it. Need to get it back out. It’s such a beautiful scale plane. 👋😊
Brad the ESC is messed up, going to replace it with the smart duel Twin Timber ESC so that it can be programed with the NX10 if needed. I can't get the smart esc programmer to connect anymore. I could tell when flying it that the left motor was pulling harder than the right which made for a fun flight. Thank you Jeff
@@JeffinLowerAlabama Wow. Yes. Good plan. Set it up to your liking too. Looking back at your first crash, I was really impressed with how well it held up. Tough bird too.
Excellent repair. Well done. A little RC adrenaline right there!
Mike I'm going to replace the ESC, tired of messing around, Thank you Jeff
DEFINITELY NOT CORRECT
Mike I like how this B18 looks but mine is deffently messed up, thank you previous owner. 😊😁🤣 looking at the crash and landing videos, I noticed that my ESCs have different propeller brakes and possibly out of calibration. @@JeffinLowerAlabama SIR I HAVE EVERY FAITH YOU WILL GET THIS GREAT LOOKING PLANE SORTED MY FRIEND. I UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEMS OCCURRED WHEN PURCHASING A USED RC. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND MY FRIEND 🇺🇲👍🏼
Man that’s just like my PC-6. “The plane I’m just not meant to own” lol!!! Great redemption flight!! PS my hands shake when I’m flying a plane that I just don’t quite trust.
Matt just chasing ESC problems which will be fixed when the new ESC gets here then it should fly like everyone else's 🙄🤣😁Thank you Jeff
"My hands are shaking".... Glad it's not just me!!!! Almost every flight.... 🤣
Danny thank you, I didn't understand why the nerves since I'm pretty disappointed with the ESC issues. Hey Jeff, man that suck as all crashes do but the sound hitting the ground was like dying bird lol! I'm so glad that you had an awesome redemption flight and landing! Thumbs up and best regards!
Fred I ordered the Twin Timber's esc so that if it needs programming I can do it with the NX10. The ESC will not let me look at the settings with the smart esc programmer anymore. Have a great week, thank you Jeff
Nice redemption flight Jeff.
Wayne, think I'll have this flying normal soon. Looking at the crash and landing videos, I noticed that my ESCs have different propeller brakes and possibly out of calibration. Was safe on the crash flight ? Looks good in the air! Nice landing! 🙋♂️👍🖖🏻
Chris have reverse thrust set by the previous owner when the Beech was not even put together. Chances taken buying a used plane. Thank you Jeff
It looked to me the left motor is not calibrated Jeff or maybe that it’s the dif-thrust. But you handled it like a pro👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻
Eric yes the ESC is messed up, can't connect to it to program it correctly so I ordered the ESC for the Twin Timber that can be programed via the NX10. Pilot error, you took off way too soon. You to let it build up speed. And you need to learn to use Rudder on takeoff
