Bengals should have kicked the extra point. With 2 timeouts and 30 seconds, even if the Ravens were down by one, they had a chance to still beat Bengals. Missing the 2 all but guarantees the Bengals would lose.

This isn't a Lamar beat Burrow situation: both played phenomenal. The Ravens and Bengals defenses BOTH failed their tasks spectacularly in the secondary by the 2nd half (Bengals a little more in the run defense). That's how so many points were scored near the end.

The NFL hosts spoke of the “ hold” at the very end of the game . But no one addressed the hold by Bengals #71 against the Ravens which culminated in a TD. Ravens would have sacked the QB AND NO TD would have scored therefore the play at the end of the game does not matter. The referees have to call one of the three penalties I'm at two point conversion. They just have to. As a Detroit Lions fan, I have no skin in the game, but to watch a 60 minute game and have the refs lay an egg on nearly the last, is disheartening. They have replay assist. It has to be used in the last two minutes, all the time. It just has to.

Yes it was a good comeback, but if we're being honest The Bengals were cruising until their RB fumbled the ball and gave Baltimore some momentum. Also the amount of missed tackles by The Bengals Defense was crazy, yes Lamar's super quick and slippery but they were missing tackles on other players too. And Lamars Receivers were wide open most plays, even in the end zone he'd have 2 receivers with nobody anywhere near them. Bengals have no chance of winning the SB as their Defense is bad, while their Offense is just Burrow, Chase and Higgins and this year the 2 WR's are often missing games here and there. I think they had their chance when Mahomes and Chiefs had a meltdown in the 2nd half of the AFC Championship which allowed The Bengals to reach the SB. Burrows really good but he's probably gonna lose Higgins next season and The Defense is regressing. I don't think The Bengals have done a good enough job in the draft outside of Burrow and Chase who were can't miss high 1st rounders. Regarding Baltimore, yes they're scary on Offense when things are rolling as Lamar has crazy weapons everywhere, but that obviously comes at the cost of the Defense. Baltimore are far more unpredictable (in terms of betting) now as shootouts always are. When you look at KC , in terms of winning important games they seem to be more reliable being a more Defensive team compasred to when it was all Offense. People talk about Tyreek possibly going back to KC but as a Chiefs fan I just don't want that as Tyreek isn't a good hands catcher and scoring quick long pass TD's doesn't give The Defense a chance to rest. Anyway, playoffs will be interesting.... And with Detroit possibly getting to play every game indoors, inc SB, with the strength of the Linemen on both sides they're tough.... But it's hard to forget how bad Goff was in his SB for the Rams although that was a lot to do with Rams having no run game, whereas Detroit have an awesome run game which is the main reason Goff's looking so good.
I actually thought the Ravens Defense did okay, I know the stats don’t show it but the bengals did not score till mid second quarter. There were multiple 3rd and 4th downs that the Bengals did not convert. Not to mention what Marlo and Kyle did, and RO and Stephens along with Beek did a good job…smh, we will continue to get better. Going for 2 is around 50% with a good offense and not so good defense, overtime is at best 50% in that game and probably below for the Bengals. Teams and the players with the leverage should treat Thursday differently for injury, if the serious issues like when swelling have not subsided in 3 days you do not play. Bleeding injuries are like open wounds that are internal and you may remove a bandage a week after cutting yourself but probably not 3 days after.
Burrow threw the ball 57 Times when they were winning for almost 80% of the game, thats not a good way to win games

This isn't a Lamar beat Burrow situation: both played phenomenal. The Ravens and Bengals defenses BOTH failed their tasks spectacularly in the secondary by the 2nd half (Bengals a little more in the run defense). That's how so many points were scored near the end.

The NFL hosts spoke of the “ hold” at the very end of the game . But no one addressed the hold by Bengals #71 against the Ravens which culminated in a TD. Ravens would have sacked the QB AND NO TD would have scored therefore the play at the end of the game does not matter. The Ravens have a glaring issue on Defense which needs to be addressed and quickly.

The simple thing that would fix the ravens defense is getting a better pass rush with blitzing…last year their d-line really got after the QBs which makes it much easier to cover.
So, let me get this straight: Refs cannot call defensive holding, face-mask grab, or hands to the face during a two-point conversion attempt with game on the line. Good to know. Also, cannot call offensive holding during a Hail Mary play with game on the line (see Commanders vs. Bears). Also good to know.

Yes it was a good comeback, but if we're being honest The Bengals were cruising until their RB fumbled the ball and gave Baltimore some momentum. Also the amount of missed tackles by The Bengals Defense was crazy, yes Lamar's super quick and slippery but they were missing tackles on other players too. And Lamars Receivers were wide open most plays, even in the end zone he'd have 2 receivers with nobody anywhere near them. Bengals have no chance of winning the SB as their Defense is bad, while their Offense is just Burrow, Chase and Higgins and this year the 2 WR's are often missing games here and there. I think they had their chance when Mahomes and Chiefs had a meltdown in the 2nd half of the AFC Championship which allowed The Bengals to reach the SB. Burrows really good but he's probably gonna lose Higgins next season and The Defense is regressing. I don't think The Bengals have done a good enough job in the draft outside of Burrow and Chase who were can't miss high 1st rounders. Regarding Baltimore, yes they're scary on Offense when things are rolling as Lamar has crazy weapons everywhere, but that obviously comes at the cost of the Defense. Baltimore are far more unpredictable (in terms of betting) now as shootouts always are. When you look at KC , in terms of winning important games they seem to be more reliable being a more Defensive team compasred to when it was all Offense. People talk about Tyreek possibly going back to KC but as a Chiefs fan I just don't want that as Tyreek isn't a good hands catcher and scoring quick long pass TD's doesn't give The Defense a chance to rest. Anyway, playoffs will be interesting.... And with Detroit possibly getting to play every game indoors, inc SB, with the strength of the Linemen on both sides they're tough.... But it's hard to forget how bad Goff was in his SB for the Rams although that was a lot to do with Rams having no run game, whereas Detroit have an awesome run game which is the main reason Goff's looking so good.

I actually thought the Ravens Defense did okay, I know the stats don’t show it but the bengals did not score till mid second quarter. There were multiple 3rd and 4th downs that the Bengals did not convert. Not to mention what Marlo and Kyle did, and RO and Stephens along with Beek did a good job…smh, we will continue to get better. We are doing what KC does, find a way to win and it may not be pretty. I was at the Bank last night.. it was a Gritty game!! Go Ravens!

Going for 2 is around 50% with a good offense and not so good defense, overtime is at best 50% in that game and probably below for the Bengals. Teams and the players with the leverage should treat Thursday differently for injury, if the serious issues like when swelling have not subsided in 3 days you do not play. Bleeding injuries are like open wounds that are internal and you may remove a bandage a week after cutting yourself but probably not 3 days after.
