Ange here! I bought Hero, my first album, in primary school and hearing it again after probably 30 years, I feel so grateful. Thank you for sharing it. Funny, I waited for the scratches/ jumps that never came! 💓
I've been looking for "Pasadena" for years.No-one I knew could remember it and I was beginning to think I'd imagined it.Youre blood's worth bottling mate, you've made one Pom very happy.
The song "Silver shoes and strawberry wine" is a great song which was also on the album done by "Marcus Hook Roll Band" which was a Vanda and Young group the album was "Tales of Ole Granddad" or "Granddaddy".
That's right, and also that album featured George's older brother Alexander Young on the saxophone and younger brothers Malcolm and Angus Young on guitars, being their debut in music just before the foundation of AC/DC. Malcolm Young recorded the guitar solo heard in "Silver Shoes and Strawberry Wine", and it is pure gold!
@@alejandro.isaacg Wowee, thanks for your insight. I had no idea 💡 of that cross pollination of talent/brilliance/masterfully delivered. All are MAJORS on THE GODFORCE of MUSICAL UNIVERSAL it's Gods love, actually.
This showed how hard it was for Aussie bands to break into America . They had to sing about American cities . Thankfully that all changed. Kudo's to bands like Skyhooks back then who actually sang about their own country.
I CAME HERE TO LISTEN TO SILVER SHOES AND STRAWBERRY WINE. ONE OF MY OLD TIME FAVOURITES. FROM AN OLDIE.
