LOVE IT when I see 2 5-Star Players or 1 5-Star and 1-6 Star MMR Player on the same Team having a TEAM MMR of 3 or 3,5 Stars.... Its just great for the middle MMR´s...
The problem with Hunt's matchmaking is the player base isn't massive. So, you rank up rather easy, but can't derank as easy. This means you're stuck in high level lobbies with very little movement. Not just that, but you see the same players quite often further reducing variation. Additionally, penalties organized teams get versus the handicaps random teams get create more imbalance that degrades the matchmaking process. The system is too complicated for its own good and the community isn't large enough to inherently create balance. Been playing the game for five years, and in its current state, it's the worst I've seen it.
You are so right. It's a Nightmare. I am a bad 4 Star Player AT BEST, yet get constantly placed in 6 Star Matches. Sometimes I play 10 rounds without even killing one enemie but dying like 10-15 times, depending on if I ragequit or not. This sucks.

I've been 6 star for years and when they do "more fair" matches by waiting longer and having fewer matches it absolutely sucks. Empty games, long queue times, and then you get stuck in there with one other team in the lobby and they're often cheaters. The lobbies were better when they didn't have a match making system. I know it sounds crazy but a bunch of people at random skill levels in this game creates chaos. That is why the 3-4 star lobbies are the best.
