I didn't think the bass in urban ponds would hit a glidebait. Now I want to use my miniature 6th sense glide. The Megabass caught bass in sunny conditions. IMO did better than the Gantarel Jr. Great idea to put these two glidebaits head to head.
Sup Jimmy. Both baits looked juicy. Some nice bass, 1 was so camera shy it saw camera and spit hook out and flopped into water fast🤣. Always hard when using a bait and gets followed in evertime, think do I change or not?? My friend is taking me fishing tommorow and I might use my bucca baby after this video? We are going where we both got our PB, and many 7-8lb bass have been cought, mine is 6lb 13oz. Enjoyed video. Hope family is well. Ty tc
lol, yeah they don't wanna see themselves being throw into a bucket and relocated to lake Crisco LOL... GO for it! I think if you are still in post spawn, some bluegill imitation baits be a good choice right now! those sounds like some big bass, so go get em!!!! :)
@@rawrfishing Ty bro. Yea we were upset with a club member keeping a 9lb 2oz bass to mount, it's club pond, can you believe he cought it on a roostertail, was trout fishing lol. Is post spawn here and friends have seen bluegill on beds, so thinking about that too.
You can twitch the rod to make it turn all the way around. Sometimes when I get followers I speed it up a tad and give it a rod twitch. Whenever the bass is just hunting it and it turns. They just open their mouth to eat
@@rawrfishing I use a Bass Pro Shops Musky xfast heavy rod (good deal) for lures 2-10 oz and I fish smaller stuff on a 7’3 heavy mod/fast setup. I’m slowly working my way to fishing baits over 4 oz.
Awesome! Congrats on the PB!
Thx, hoping for next PB glide bait and hope it will shatter my overall PB
The vatalions are pretty cool too, a swimbait/clipless crank hybrid
It's totally an amazing one indeed!
A heck of a lures their jimbo
Oh yeah, two great ones for the arsenal! Must have

It can happen if u present it at a good time! Perhaps I should try the MB first next time ;)
should try the Japanese 8 trap methods, kinda like the musky method where you figure 8 the swimbait to get a reaction strike
I will have to check that out. Thx for the tip

Yes sir, been playing around with the actions and that's one of the things I need to keep in mind. A lot of fiddling before the grass grows thick!
Do you use a fast action rod for all big swimbaits?
I personally just started with this setup. Have not explored anything else if applicable. How about you?

Good spot. Hate filming there.
I love filming there! I like how people get in trouble fishing there and get chased away by Karens while I can since a relative of mine lives there :)
@@rawrfishing I have a similar connection but drawing attention to it has proven more harmful than helpful. At least in my experience.
