ערוץ הספורט היה פתוח בטלוויזיה הביתית בבית בכפר חיים. עומרי מזרחי, נער בן 14, צפה בטלוויזיה מתוך שעמום ובטלה.
על המסך הוקרן משחק פוטבול אמריקאי שהתרחש בארה"ב. באותו רגע משהו קרה לעומרי. משהו התחבר.
מכאן עומרי החליט: אני אהיה שחקן פוטבול.
השנה היא שנת ההשקה לקבוצת הפוטבול שהקים, "הגרדיאנס". על אף קשיים בדרך, האמיבציה הדומיננטית שלו מניעה אותו לפעול ולא לוותר.
The sports channel was open on the television in the house in Kfar Haim. Omri Mizrahi, a 14-year-old boy, watched TV out of boredom and idleness. On the screen was a NFL football game. At that moment something happened to Omri. Something happened within him. Omri decided: I will be a football player.
