Best Showtime Series that was cancelled while so much other worthless shite stayed on air. Exactly why I ended my Showtime subscription as did many others. It was entertaining, beautifully artistic, well written, dramatic, and historically on point with the exception of a few things changed for storytelling, etc.
Well if you really like this show so much(I really like it as well) The entire series seems to be free on Netflix. Or at least I think it’s the entire series LOL I’m not sure Netflix be playing people out lol

Dear sweet Lord!!!! i watched this twice.... once i actually watched... and once i closed my eyes & listened!! if Jeremy Irons recorded himself reading the phone book i'd buy it!!! i had gotten rid of my Showtime and PROMPTLY got it back when Shameless started... now this show & Jeremy.... SOOOOOOO glad i did!!!

I like how PROHOLDEM went to every interview and posted the same, grammatically difficult-to-read tirade about how he/she thinks the series blows. That's funny to me, that they would spend their time that way.
If I am going to watch this, everytime he steps in the room I think about Assassin's Creed 2.
The only problem I have with this show is calling it a real mobster family/crime family. how much of what was shown in each episode was true? Did his enemies really try to poison him? What was the fascination with religion and power in the Roman Catholic Church at that time? After reading about as much as I could and watching the series, makes me want to wash myself with Holy Water and confess my sins! Blech!
