A couple of things I noticed, at 1:00, one of the hurricane players is trying to return to his line so that he is onside and trips over the ref and falls over. The ref is moving about and focusing on the ball and doesn't appear to realise the player has fallen. What's the rules here? The hurricane player could no longer make a tackle, is it the refs fault? Should play have been stopped? They may have scored anyway, but that player was unable to make the tackle due to the positioning of the ref. The other thing was at 3:00, where the reds go on to score a try. The reds player appears to knock the ball on, it seems to hit the tackler and bounces up and looks to go forward. The play just carries on, and the reds player picks it up and scores but isn't that a double knock on? Shouldn't there have been a scrum?
@@mierypesado6740 well they were both moving. If that's the rules, that's the rules. I know if the ball touches the ref, they normally stop play. Interesting, thanks.
I agree that the Reds player has knocked on and the ball has hit the approaching tackler. I can only assume the ref thought the ball came loose in the tackle and went backwards. The ref is closer, of course, but to me the replay seems to clearly show a knock on. If the ball, or the player carrying the ball, hits the ref or another non-player, resulting in advantage to one side, then a scrum is called and the team who last played the ball get the put-in. If neither team gets an advantage then it's play on. Any other player making contact with the referee, it's play on. When it happens in-goal the law is a little different.
They missed the shoulder charge to Hunter Paisami’s head just before Barrett’s shoulder charge on Petaia. That’s why Paisami had to leave the field for hia as well. Two of the reds best players. But other than that it was a very good game.
