Something REALLY iconic this time! Already featured "The Trooper" and other classic Iron Maiden riffs in my Metal Top 15 Riff Lists! Many of you suggested "Aces High" year by year and it finally got real because of the Patreon Guitar Cover Voting! Since this year I want to develop more as a lead player, I kindly took this opportunity!
I used a guitarless backingtrack which means that EVERY guitar you hear is played by me. Nothing got covered up by the original track. Big Plus! Minus: Some parts of the track just sound weird, I had to do a lot of mixing/mastering haha! I even had to record the bass myself at some spots, did you spot which parts?

Great cover and I like the solo and your "Official Maiden outfit".
I gotta say (for whatever its worth), as a fan of Iron Maiden, I really like the narrative qualities of this video. The graffiti, the bridge, the kind of gritty urban setting…people forget that Iron Maiden were a pub band before they became a “classic metal” band. They weren’t playing punk rock, but they were still trying to find something different for the mindset of the time. Those low angle shots with guitar and the bottom of the bridge are like a perfect visual metaphor for the band and underground music in general-looking to the sky, but only seeing the bottom of a bridge, but there is a distinct direction going forward into the future via the visual perspective. This is great work!

That was epic! \m/ An all-time-classic opener from one of the greatest albums of all time, and you absolutely did it justice. You nailed the tone perfectly. The solo was awesome. Just fantastic playing all round. And you found a very cool location. An interesting contrast to the forest ones. It looked great, and almost seemed like you had your own personal wind machine for extra rockstar points during the solo haha. So cool! Absolutely awesome cover! :)

What is super about being excited? I don’t understand American language? And I grew up in the U.K. in 1970. If you were excited then that’s it, you didn’t need to add anything else to that statement.
