    Great ideas, I've tried them all over the many years of crafting. I've found what works for me and it really makes all the difference!! I'm a flipper! I hate things in tackle boxes, I can never get anything out and get frustrated...an alternative to those if anyone else is like me, is the "garage storage drawer units". I have two stacked on each other (though they can get hung on a wall) and I micro sort just like you by like items and I can pull out the drawer of the item and I can dump it all on my desk if I need to. It's perfect! I've also found that if I put anything in a binder, I completely forget it exists (I don't know what my problem is, lol). I love, love, love, flipping through things and that is how I store my ephemera, stickers, enamel dots, thickers, etc etc There are bins on amazon that have dividers in them (clear plastic) and I use those...CD sleeves are one of my favorites to compartmentalize not only ephemera but actual sticker sheets. I have stars bundled and stick them in one of those sleeves (I fold over the flap and tuck it in or I cut it off). I use the larger stamp sleeves storage by Avery Elle also if I need to. I repurpose all those envelopes I got from past Ali Edwards kits and the house my alpha stickers coordinated by colors....in a vintage metal bin I found and flip flip, pull it out, put it back. Love it. I am fascinated by folks who work from kits. I really have to try that one day. I'm the kind of person that as soon as something comes in (hip kit club, ali edwards, studio calico, heidi swapp...doesn't matter) it all gets pulled apart and sorted into their category. That's how I work. I need tags, go to the tags....I need phrase stickers, let's go grab that bin...I need hearts, well, you get the point and I've overstayed my welcome. lol

    Going thru my ribbons and lace. Etc.....color first....then certain things go on cardboard, ribbons on clips hanging in a ring behind door using that lost space......you have helped a lot! Thanks Jess! Sandy

    Love these videos! I really like how you have stored your Christmas & Halloween in the Iris containers and have them separated by images etc. TFS 🤗

    Wonderful video! I just wanted to share something I've recently tried, and like. First, let me say it's because of you that I buy the plastic storage boxes (?) from Hobby Lobby. I love them, BUT...sometimes I have so many coordinating pieces and ephemera that they won't all fit without breaking the container(? again!) Anyway, if I don't have much, and can fit it in, I do that. But...if there is a lot, I store the extra accessories in a 6X6 plastic container, like idesign. I use label dividers for each collection and then maybe I can fit more collections in them. Then... on the Hobby Lobby folder, I color code it and use the same color on the 6X6 container to show where the other collection pieces located. It's really working out well. Thought I'd share. Your videos are so well done and I learn so much from you! And...I like your voice! Thank you for all that you do!

    I love organizing like this but I wasn't using mine when it was kind of lumped into like-ish themes... so I created drawers of like colors and just stick it all in there by color cause I can't wrap my head around type. I am so amazed when I see it like this because you can totally tell the style but mine are so all over the place... Great idea on how to do it that way. Those boxes are cool!

    Hi! I love watching your videos, especially your organizing ones. It's great to watch how other crafters organize their stash. I use Totally Tiffany's methodology. Definitely check her out! But keep doing what works for you. Thanks for the relevant content.

    thank you for the great ideas - you lost me on the chip board storage in binders - do you place the chip boards on a different sheet (?) and if so, how?

    • @JessicaGraceDesigns
      @JessicaGraceDesigns  2 роки тому +5

      I do. I line cardstock with wax paper then add the chipboard. The wax paper allows them to be removable. Hope that helps 😊
