I do a lot of aerial drone photos and footage. I still get a good number of photos downloaded on Adobe Stock and of course lots of video. In fact, Adobe Stock is currently my best performing platform and I don't even have any AI on the port. Customers are and will still be looking for actual photos and videos of places for quite some time yet.
Agreed. There are some things like real world aerial footage where AI just can't currently compete. It's great that you have this lucrative niche. Here's wishing it does well for you long into the future!
I'm with almost 5k images on adobe stock, making $250 per month. Started one year ago. Uploading 10 images per day, some days more than that. What can I do to improve my incoming?
I would say to analyze your subject matter to see what themes and styles are selling the most... not to just copy your own work but to point you in the direction to earn as much as possible moving forward. Also to watch for trends in what is selling well for others. I'll be doing more frequent updates on the top selling AI images at Adobe Stock... watch for my next video on this in a few days! Best of luck!
I'm more negative on this subject. I have a little over 2000 video clips out there and make $300-500/month but lately it's been closer to $300. I was thinking my portfolio would be good for 10-20 years but now I'm thinking it may be less than 5 years. I still think I'll do some sales but it will be $100-150/mo. I am shifting to more editorial footage which usually doesn't make as much but I think it will be safer over the long run. I teach filmmaking at the college level and I tell my students you have two choices: 1. Be so good they can't ignore you or 2. Be a plumber because everybody poops.
I appreciate that perspective. I think good old human imagination and creativity will always have value, whether that energy is funneled into traditional photography and videography or generative AI to create wonderous imagery and video.
I don't submit AI every day. I do more traditional illustration and animation, primarily 3d rendering. I have done some AI uploads in batches to test it out, and have been encouraged by the results so far, but I am proceeding with caution myself after seeing a number of long-time microstock contributors having their accounts suddenly banned due to some simple mistakes with their AI content. But I'm watching the AI space pretty extensively for my own learnings and to share the knowledge here with others.

I think exactly the same thing. It'll be amazing opportunity for us. Exciting times we live in!
Exactly, I'm looking forward to generating some cool new content with Sora, while continuing to create my traditional output.

Hey sir please make a video on Adobe stock SEO and what not to do to not get banned..
Good idea, I will try to do an Adobe SEO video soon! Thanks for the suggestion.
Pease also talk about can we add a same name or tags to multipale files when submiting at once @@MicrostockLife
I will be sure to address this. It's a bad idea to use the same name and exact same keywords for multiple files. More to come!
thankyou for your video sir!
Thanks for watching and for the comment. Best of luck to you!
😭😭😭😭
I appreciate the feedback, but hope I didn't make you too sad! Best of luck!
