I love seeing updated video guides for things like this! A lot of the info doesn't change but it shows that people are still interested. I'd love to see a guide on super merger. I haven't been able to find any in depth information on merging with the specific weights.
Another great tute! VERY well done. When working on percentages ( 50/50 to 60/40, etc ), would one be able to edit/modify the new checkpoint or must a new one be created?
@@FoxtonAI Apologies, I meant in reference to 4:16. What is I wanted to change it to be less or more. Would I have to create a new merge or can I just use the one I had created and edit the percentages and save again,. Thank you!
Is there some tutorial how to install these checkpoints, what does it mean, how to train..w/e is a training? I get feeling that with each tutorial video I found I know less. I understand where to put vae, lora, but for checkpoints I don´t know where to save them.
Hello. Yes, it can all be a bit confusing at first. I have a number of starter videos for Automatic1111 on my channel. I think you'll find them very helpful and make things a lot clearer for you. This is a video I did specifically to answer your question on Checkpoints: Install Checkpoint Models in Stable Diffusion Automatic1111: ua-cam.com/video/pO1ztt9AHo0/v-deo.html Hope that helps.
How much VRAM do I need for this? I have a 4070ti super with 16GB but A1111 crashes around 60% in the process when I use those typical checkpoints around 6GB.

Thank you. Glad you liked the video. Yes, you can then merge your new checkpoint.

You can just adjust the percentages, give it a new custom name and hit the Merge button.
@@FoxtonAI Thank you so much! :)
thank you
You're welcome. Glad you liked the video.
Does this work for flux or sdxl checkpoints?
Hi, could you make a video tutorial where you explain how to create checkpoints from scratch? I would like to create one of my own :)
Thanks for that suggestion. I may take a look at doing that.
@@FoxtonAI thx a lot :)

That's strange...it works effortlessly on my machine, and I only have an 8GB 3070 and 16GB Ram.
@@FoxtonAI OK, I will check again and try different settings.
Just what i needed, thanks
Thanks for your comment. Glad the video was helpful.
SuperMerger tutorial next?
Now there's a thought! Thanks for the suggestion.
Hello! I have tried but it gives me a file that is empty, 0ko size, what am I doing wrong?
Hello. That seems very strange. Did you manage to resolve the issue?
@@FoxtonAI no
I want tutorial on How to merge Trained SDXL model with other SDXL Checkpoint
Thanks for your suggestion...I'll look at doing a video for that in the future.
