  • The Non-GEO Constellations Analysis Toolkit leverages 2 million query-able database rows and 17 analytics tools to drive unbiased assessments of satellite constellations’ performance metrics and capabilities.
The new version (NCAT5.2) includes a revamped mobility tool that allows users to factually and easily assess the performance of satcom constellations for multiple mobility players and applications simultaneously.
With the new mobility tool users can :
Run IP bandwidth supply & demand simulations for any mobility application (fully configurable and no longer for just in-flight connectivity)
Combine IP demand from multiple airlines. Flight data can be downloaded from the NCAT server and/or from other sources, extending use to private jets, non-commercial /military mobility routes, etc.
Combine demand profiles of multiple mobility applications (e.g. IFC + maritime) with those of fixed broadband.
Drive analytics for any territory (country/region selection, custom boundary, zoom-based)
Visualize and download granular data including instantaneous and cumulative IP bandwidth supply-demand performance per ground cell.
Sample clip (accelerated 300X) corresponds to the upcoming Amazon Project Kuiper constellation assuming IFC bandwidth demand from eight major US airlines simultaneously: American Airlines (AA) + United Airlines (UA) + Delta Airlines (DL) + Southwest Airlines (WN) + Spirit Airlines (NK) + Frontier Airlines (F9) + JetBlue (B6) + Alaska Airlines (AS).
