I disagree. For many boxers yeah I get your point but I think AJ has earned his right. Boxing in the UK would be nothing without him. It’s been an Olympic gold medalist and two time heavyweight champion of the world.

Bivol was struggling against unknown Zinad until he stopped him, and seemed very relieved to do so. Beterbiev resets his feet and comes up and down and at angles, he suffocates and makes you panic while he is doing damage.

What some dont understand is Aj isnt just gonna get the rematch because "hes eddies best friend or boxing is corrupt" hes a cash cow and the rematch would definitely sell. Beterbiev is more advanced in skills, dynamic and tactically superior to Bivol, only age and injuries might beat Beterbiev, as good as Bivol, he is very linear although fluid.

Im a AJ fan and have been from the start. Always backed him but i agree he shouldnt get a rematch, DDD should have a Vol defence after xmas and then fight winner of Fury Usyk in september for undisputed.

I agree with GD for once. Smart move is Dubious last. AJ needs a knockout victory over Wilder and a good boxing opponent to build back up to Dubious. Dubious is on the up and improving at a massive rate.
If AJ can keep his chin down, nose clean and start to use his hands and feet together, he still has a chance against Dubious. AJ really has to give 110% and get to work because he has a tough few last fights. It’s about self preservation and not taking too much damage now. He’d be wise to work on a lightning jab and a solid defence when throwing and defending. He’s got a longer reach advantage over most his opponents.
He needs to step on it and be more forceful. He has the artillery, he just needs a solid defence behind it to give him the confidence.
