Today marks about one year of when my daughter walked away from the Lord. I "stumbled" (we know better) across your you tube videos and it has been a real life line for me. I started a War Room with 5 other women where we meet every Wednesday for prayer over our children. This season has been tough and its not over but I trust God (I KNOW VICTORY IS COMING!) I have learned how to really fight in the spirit for these kids! It has and continues to be a real journey with peaks and valleys but I see Him working. Thank you Karen for your obedience to God's call and for your diligence with this ministry. I pray that God continues to grow your ministry and richly bless you!

I am in a season of experiencing the Lord’s incredible answers to prayer for my family after years of casual indifference toward Him. Over the last couple of weeks, both of my nieces made a public declaration on social media they were following Jesus and trusting Him fully. The older niece and her husband and child are now attending a spirit-filled church. Their mother told me over Christmas that she had just finished reading the Bible completely through and had started again. These and more are such huge, gigantic spiritual breakthroughs. How I praise God for His working and how thankful I am for the way God has used the Front Porch exhortation and encouragement to not stop praying. I am now seeing the beginning to those prayers being answered. hallelujah!!

This is wild! I had that book as a teenager. I never finished it. And I have NEVER read the story of Jabez. But over the past couple of days, I have thought about that very book. And I have wondered about his prayer. Just random times it came to my mind while at work or while driving. This is absolute confirmation from God. If you haven't already, begin to read your Bible daily and try to journal what you feel the Lord is speaking to your heart. He always speaks to us in ways we can hear individually...through nature, through other people, through "coincidences", etc. Etc. Jesus said He wouldn't leave us alone, but promised the Gift-The Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of Truth and always testifies of Jesus. Please be sure to read The Gospels and Acts as soon as possible and pray God baptize you in The Holy Spirit, as this will bring fullness to your understanding and power to walk the walk. Just so much going on and I've been praying and studying the word but I think I'm the only one in my family that believes the way we do and I've got a Friend that I can call and talk to she's one of the elders of the church and I've got a sister that they just discovered that she may have to have open heart surgery she's probably 2 years younger than me,. I have a brother that was about 2 years older than me that died was a heart attack,. Now I'm going to the doctor a heart doctor to get checked out because of some issues I've been having so if y'all would just keep my sister and I in your prayers I'd appreciate it. At the time I first noticed Jabez in scripture I was doing ministry to single moms. Enlarging my territory led me to ministering on an international ministry to include widows and orphans in other countries at a time when the needs were staggering. I went back to those verses many times to receive encouragement.

Yes, looking for God’s presence each day. We are seeing in our family God working in a mighty way. My nephew, Brett, 57 yrs. old called home on 12/16. His memorial celebration was all about God and what He meant to Brett. Many cousins attended from all over the country. Some not yet saved, my son heard a powerful message and testimony of Brett’s life. God is working. Keep interceding for family and friends. Thank you Karen for all messages of encouragement. Eight months ago I begin Praying the prayer of Jabez and my blessings have been so many with the greatest being allowed to bless so many shut In forgotten elderly and deliver them a hot meal. This blessing to me has allowed my heart to heal from hurt and rejection from my prodigal daughter. God speaks to me more and more. I look forward to Wednesday nights too, because your messages are just a blessing to me. This week has been kind of hard I have just felt like I am just weighed down and ready to collapse at any time. Just so much going on and I've been praying and studying the word but I think I'm the only one in my family that believes the way we do and I've got a Friend that I can call and talk to she's one of the elders of the church and I've got a sister that they just discovered that she may have to have open heart surgery she's probably 2 years younger than me,. I have a brother that was about 2 years older than me that died was a heart attack,. Now I'm going to the doctor a heart doctor to get checked out because of some issues I've been having so if y'all would just keep my sister and I in your prayers I'd appreciate it. I'm so encouraged by this prayer I need a miracle of healing in my family as well as direction from God for my family thank you Karen Wheaton for the front porch friend it's so uplifting yesterday I was lead to pray the Jabez prayer I'm very blessed by watching you every Thursday morning
At the time I first noticed Jabez in scripture I was doing ministry to single moms. Enlarging my territory led me to ministering on an international ministry to include widows and orphans in other countries at a time when the needs were staggering. I went back to those verses many times to receive encouragement.
Thank you JESUS for your word... I'm standing for my husband who left me for another woman...God is going to restore him to Him and then restore him to me . Praise God I standing and believing

Yes, looking for God’s presence each day. We are seeing in our family God working in a mighty way. My nephew, Brett, 57 yrs. old called home on 12/16. His memorial celebration was all about God and what He meant to Brett. Many cousins attended from all over the country. Some not yet saved, my son heard a powerful message and testimony of Brett’s life. God is working. Keep interceding for family and friends. Thank you Karen for all messages of encouragement.
