    I've had my logdog 35ton for 5 years and it takes on anything you put through it. However you need to make sure debris doesnt pile up at the plinth end as the slotted holes in the bottom of the rails aren't large enough to clear debris. Another thing is the wedge gaurd is designed badly as it allows bark to jam up under the cyclinder on the return stroke which if not cleared regularly during splitting can push the cyclinder up risking bending the cyclinder rod and destroying seals

      Yes, we've noticed that happening after using the splitter a bit more after the video. Looking at other units on the market, they mostly seem to be a similar design. We've been regularly clearing both ends during use. In the meantime, we'll feed the info back to the manufacturer to see if they have any suggestions.
