Raddy RF919 SSB Shortwave Radio Daytime AIR Scan of the Chicago Area

The Raddy RF919 AM FM Stereo LW Weather Alert AIR CB VHF UHF SSB Shortwave Portable Radio with Bluetooth and MP3 Player is brought out to see how it performs on the AIR Band using a 22' External Wire, and running the Preset Scanner. It works great. Not as good as a dedicated handheld scanner, but they are getting closer. The Raddy is quick to start scanning once there is any audio pause. Would be nice to set this to a delay of two seconds before the Scan resumes.

Overall, the RF919 is set to entertain the Enthusiast for many Years to come. I love tuning through the AIR band. You can also Record your sessions directly to the Micro SD card.

Nice feature. That would sell this radio on it’s own! Does it receive shortwave? I would use it more as an emergency radio instead because of all the different features. Nice! 73 and have a pleasant rest of your day.
