I can’t compare to anything in its price range as it’s the first I’ve got in the sub $200 range and also more expensive than the Daiwa presso’s I have. I can just review how it’s been so far for me. As of now there’s a similar feel to the Presso when you hook into a large fish as the backbone has some give and will flex. However the tip seems more sensitive (fast) but once hooked it has a more moderate action. Additionally it’s not the best casting rod imo It has very small guides compared to the Presso and other UL rods. It’s similar guides to a Curado if you’ve ever used one. Which is fine because that’s a much larger setup but for an UL where they make it compact design it’s much smaller surface area for the line to pass though causing it to not shoot out the guides as fast. This rod pairs well with light reels and is not very tip heavy so a 1000 size reel seems to be a good choice for it.
If only I could buy one. Been checking daily since his damn video lol
