Love love love this! I'm from South Dakota, my grandma was dakota sioux, a member of the Sisseton Wahpeton tribe. I love when I find young natives getting out there and making a real impact. My best friend is locked up right now, got hit with some charges, he's native, I'm gonna send this to him, not sure if he gets youtube, but I'll find a way. He needs to hear this.
I’m from a reserve in Northern Manitoba as well , Rez life Ain’t easy as well I grew up without a dad and my mom was a single mother raising me and my sister all by herself and we struggle a lot financially and didn’t have no support from my or my sisters own dad and people tried to change to have a troubled life I didn’t let them.
But no matter how much times I’ve fell flat on my face I’ve always got back up right away and kept going!

I met even more in treatment at Keystone in Canton, SD. There is and always will be a spot in my heart for the Native American people, especially the Lakota. The Black Hills belong to them. Period.
