Golfs are ultra high quality, drive well, and they are better when they are not broken. If they do, VW will treat you as customer like crap. Dieselgate? Oil Burning? Timing chain? Turbo failure? Better have some money in your pocket, don't expect VW will repair it cheap, even though a broken part is obviously their fault. Their cars are good, their service is bad.

I drove MK1 Focus and i have been driven in MK4 Golf and i must say,Focus is 5 times more comfortable.
