Can't believe no mention of a hair dryer it melts the glue enough you can remove it with your fingers doesn't hurt the paint
Rubbing alcohol also works well to remove stickers. (also, works to remove bubblegum from carpets and/or hair.)
And grease...
This video is not really helpful. Why did you ruin the car's paint? We all know what would happen. Common sense. I feel sad for the car.

First thing I do on every car I've owned is remove the dealer bs,, I use a hair dryer heat the sticker up, glue softens, pull it off then spray wd40 to wipe away glue residue.

We use a blow dryer .. the sticker peels right off ..
I’m really good at removing stickers but I’m beyond stumped with my late. The previous owner had a “old guys rule” sticker on the plastic spare tire cover. It’s been baked in the SC sun for 12 years. I got the letters off (hair dryer) however, the outer edge of the clear part of the sticker evidently was merged into the clear coat. There is no digging it off. Now there’s a patch of white haze. Ideas??

Use a hair dryer or heat gun from a distance moving constantly.

Sylvania headlight restoration kit worked very well for me. I took reference from Project Farms and lens cover looks new now. Other kits may work too, although I know Sylvania was great.
Go to a local hardware store or car shop and buy a cheap restoration kit with the pads and lube.
Spray wax works good also and help removes the glue
Also If you're thirsty make sure you drink water.
