Great video once again. Vancouver though, and actually any of the big cities, should include the metro area as it's much much larger. For example Vancouver + Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, North Van, West Van, Delta = well over 2 million. There is no divide between the districts

Although fishing was/is an important industry and important to "many towns", it was not "...'the' main economic factor for all of these Provinces...". If you changed the statement to "...'a' main economic factor for all of these Provinces..." then you would be closer to the truth. You are conflating what happened in Newfoundland, over the past 50 or more years, with the entire Atlantic region today. For example you stated "... they deal with depopulation..." but Statistic Canada data shows that between 2016 and 2020 the populations were growing (NS 6.0%, NB 4.6%, NL .46%, and PEI 11.70%).
It has changed since the 2016 official census data shown in the video. The next official population numbers won't actually be released until 2026! The numbers you see posted are just estimates by city governments and can vary quite a bit when the official censuses come around. Thanks for sharing!

So Canada (36/37th largest country by population) has a similar population to the (by far) most populous state in the 3rd most (and 1st most richest) country in the world. So?
It's quite fascinating actually. The whole country of Canada (its population) would fit in California. California already seems like it has tons of open space, but then when you take that population to a massive country, you realize how much open space there really is in Canada and how far away it's population centers are from one another. @mikael perry populations can rise and grow??? Fascinating. If you can’t tell I’m being quite sarcastic. Just give it up the City of Edmonton PROPER does not have over 1 million people.
Another interesting one is that Canada's population is larger than Australia's and NZ's together, but if you divide the total population of the two by the total geographic area of both, (and do the same for Canada), its actually a very close number, both around 3.8 million per 1 million km2.
