If you don't have a template, I bet you could just grab a piece of hard material like a guitar slide, piece of glass, or something like that and then pluck the string until you're around the spot where it goes up a half step.
Oh.... man I just realized that if I made a harp, I could tune it into different temperaments with levers. (I've come to not like equal temperament so much anymore, its like the beige of tuning systems).

Does the template come with the Carmac when you purchase them? I imagine harps have various shapes of the arm with the tuners, so you would need one for your particular harp.

We provide templates for the harps that we make but we don't have templates for harps from other makers.
