Thats a good tip colin. I really glad you are saving a few trees. Too many people are just cutting down everything these days
It is good to see that I am not the only person to leave a few trees in a hedge line, as you said it is a lot easier to cut hedges without trees, be if people cut everything in sight there won't be any trees in a few years. I try to leave trees that are at one side of the hedge so I can still trim the top without the tree being in the way.
good job on those hedges, flails are good enough once sharpened... lots of metal left on them... keep the vids coming
thank you Charlie, good luck in the future
good job there ended up neat and tidy. loads of life in thoose flails left anyone that says they need replacing clearly doesnt have a clue how much a new set costs!!! keep up the goog work
That's a really informative little clip for those who don't understand hedge cutting. Your flails could do with replacing, or maybe just a sharpen. They will make a neater job and give the machine less work
u need a trimmer very unlikely tidy work
thanks. Your right about the flails, i have given them a sharpen since i made this video but they could really do with replacing........along with the tractor!
from all your vidios i have wached you have realy inspiered me to be a farmer
well done
age 11.
Fine job you've done. I must buy one for next season. How many feet of a reach has it got
Thanks. I cant remember the reach on this machine (maybe 12 feet) but you can buy all different sizes to suit your tractor
Are Hegcutter brock when I was cutting
Do you have any hedge hogs?
Yes but you don't see them very often
you are moving too fast with tractor to allow flails cut hedge cleanly, you need to drop it down a gear or two, its not a race ur in, give flail head time to cut growth not fly out over it
