Men and women have different vocal sounds yes but the majority enjoy both male and female music. As for spaces I'm happy to welcome trans women. I had a male friend who got raped when he was little and he did not know what was going on as he did not know what sex was.

It's his managers fault in my opinion. When he was a "straight" guy he was topping the charts every single week. Then his views started to drop heavily, all of a sudden he comes out as gay and he's back at the top. Same thing happened and he became irrelevant again, suddenly he comes out as none binary and tops the charts once more.

What I am hearing is, he is saying just because there aren't two separately gendered categories now it means that women automatically have a disadvantage at winning an award. As if music isn't based on talent and subjective opinions. Is he trying to say that female artists can't compete with male ones anyway? That male musicians will in most cases be better anyway?
Female artists aren't some sort of sub group that need to be evaluated differently or separately. If you've got talent then that is what should always be the main focus. Not your gender.
