Sometimes the easier way to diagnose or eleminate relay is to turn on the wipers and moce wiper wings. If they suddenly start to move the problem is not the relay and the motor.

I think this video was meant to be a joke? Absolutely nothing needs to be removed, just reach under the dash pull it out.. no tools necessary!
I have replaced my wiper motor and the linkage as well as the stock. I still have no working wipers. Fuse is good. I checked and replace the windshield wiper fuse even though it looked good. right stock doesn't work at all. Even the window washer motor. Do you think this is the problem? I just got the relay out. I'll buy a new one if you think this is the problem. Please help. I have been running Rain-X on my windshield for years.
You can check the cables also from the windshield wipers.
Neither the video nor the description tells the year or generation of the one you're working on. Mine is a 2012 Jetta Wagon. Does this apply to my car?
It says VW Golf Mk4, wich is 1998-2004 year production. I don’t know if it’s the same for the Jetta 2012.

So my issue is my rear wipers dont work..the sprayer works and the front wipers work/sprayer..I had wires that were cut from the hatch on my 08 Golf but I dont know if a new 377 relay would fix it as a whole unit or is there a separate fuse for the rear?

What else does 377 control? My wipers aren't working, my headlights, fog lights, turn signals, and heater and ac stoped working, but everything else works fine
Check your Hazard light button, that could control the rear tail lights, all turn signals. I had bought a used 2008 VW Golf and I found that the harness was unplugged for some strange reason..if yours is intact you could try purchasing a new one.
Why is the 377 relay mounted upside down?
Sometimes when I put my wipers on at interval, the wipers go automatically full on, even if i put the lever to off they keep on whiping and eventually they go off. Is this the same issue, so that I need to change the 377 relay, or do I need to change some fuses as well?

I am having this very problem with my Mk1 99 Octavia, when putting the wiper down or up 1 setting to intermitant wipe, it will wipe 5-6 times, then eventually shut off. I think the relay may be the issue, however I bought 1 used one which was just as bad, got another from a breakers which has helped but is occurring less often. Is it possible these relays are bad as they are used or old. Should I buy a new (Aftermarket 377 fuse)

Yes. But I think my issue was a number of factors we replaced the front motor. Relay what fixed it completely we unplugging the back wiper motor

Ya revise el motor de la bombita limpia parabrisas y funciona correctamente. Este relay también influye en el funcionamiento de la bomba de aguas del limpia parabrisas?
comprueba que los tubos de agua de la bomba al parabrisas no estén rotos

@@Servicetutorials i have the same problem with wipers,but they can work without any problem in good sunny weather.But when its raining it starts to having the issue,stops at different positions,and after 10-15 pre-wiping its going to the normal position.Its still relay 377 the problem?Thank you
