I always hear a door slam when falling asleep. Nobody is there but it wakes me. I think you’re a great storyteller. I could visualize what you were saying
I was thinking about you today and finally saw my notifications, lol.
Not a ghost story but a few months after my grandpa died I had a dream where I was pretty much lucid (I knew I was dreaming and could control my actions) ended up seeing my grandpa and giving him a hug. It’s a nice dream to look back on, even if it was just “a dream”
I had a similar dream happen to me this year with my grandmother who passed two years ago. In the dream I even inhaled her scent, felt the touch if her linen clothes. She hugged me and consoled me since I was angry and upset in my dream and only she was able to calm me down. When I woke up, it broke my heart all over again because I thought my dream was real and she was still alive but it was nice to touch and smell her one last time.

Well thanks for sharing... 1981 (Killeen Texas), I was laying down resting. Out of no-where, I was slapped so hard on my hip. There was no doubt because it was so hard. Tiny apartment and I'm alone. I jumped up and just stood there. I knew a spirit had hit me...but why? I laid down facing bathroom and saw a spider as big as your hand coming down from ceiling. I ran to the bathroom; I looked everywhere. My marriage was not working, and the spirit in that apartment wanted me out (looking back). My grandmother once told me if I see a large spider and it's not there...someone is going to die. I can't remember if it was 1 week or 2 weeks, but I moved out back to the barracks. My husband died shortly after in car accident. I had a knowing that he was going to die in our tiny apartment. Strangely now I can see the spirits or angels were trying to protect me (alert me). This is just one story in the many. If the location has spirits, I will have an experience. I usually can hear (clear words) but not see. Now, I can see them more...I think. I try to ignore them and stay close with God. I don't need any trouble in my life! January 2021...New Years day, a girl came and stood directly by my youngest daughter (I ignored her), then she went and stood by my oldest daughter (I ignored her). I said goodnight and turned over on sofa. She was just like in flesh form, but I could not see her face. Usually, I see in a shadow or like a film or so of a person. But, she was as real as them. I moved in this past February with one daughter and nothing...not seeing or hearing. Let's keep it that way. I'm good with that.

@@SharmaineJoyel Thank you! The marriage sucked, but he was my best friend, and I miss him to this day. The night he died, he came and told me he was alive and OK in my dream. We truly were the best of friends that should not have got married (I left in our 5th month and he died in the 7th month of our marriage). Take care...
Wow, I'm also sorry that your husband passed away, my condolences. I also had relatives that have seen or heard spirits. I remember only one time someone or something said my name directly into my ear when I was sitting on my bed, even though I was home alone and nothing was there or at least visually I couldn't see anything, the samething happen to my cousin as well. Me and my family have had many encounters and paranormal experiences. Sometimes I feel blessed when I'm warned about something in a dream before it happens, other times I feel like it's a nightmare since I can't change the course of the outcome. I'm not sure where this comes from, but it let's me know that there must be something else after life. I wish I could tap into it more to help myself and other people but I don't want to go down the wrong tunnel. Cicely Tyson also experience this and mentioned it in her memoir.
@@africajourney2182 Your words on my first husband...thank you. Strangely, I've been thinking of him lately. Last time I saw him in a dream was 2015, 2016 or perhaps 2017...I did not keep record. I was at my corner at 711, and I just happened to look over. There he was walking up the sidewalk in a suit like he was getting married...happiness was all over him. I never ever seen him in a suit while he was alive, but there he was in a suit. His face was so happy! Overall, I don't think I had that many experiences. It's just the years done gone by; I look back and I have my own little jewelry box of Godly memories. My daughters as of yet do not have these types of experiences. I tell them it's OK...God communicates in many ways. My youngest daughter has a wonderful relationship with God and understands his leading in her life (that's all that counts). Right now, I'm being trained to see God's answers in everyday life. I always tell God, "I don't have to hear a voice or see spiritually this or that." Let someone else have that experience...I'm good...I tell him. So, my Angel has been training me to see without the supernatural but in everyday life. Cool! I've never heard my name called, but I have a childhood friend that would hear her name being called a few times (creepy...horror show vibes). When my Grandmother had died the next day me and my family went to her house and when I was upstairs at the 2 floor the doors were moving.
The exact same thing happened to me around the same age, we had just moved into a new apartment I was laying down about to take a nap and got slapped in the middle of the back. I don't understand what happened but also had other strange experiences in that apartment.
I was slapped by a ghost once in my college dorm! I’ve also been choked in my sleep.

Where do I start? Most of my family members have had paranormal encounters which leads me to believe that maybe it's pass down generations. I've had many things happen to me from having someone or something that I couldnt see call my name in my ear while sitting on the bed when I was home alone (my cousin also experience this when she was alone), I also experience feeling someone or something sit on the edge of my bed when I was in my room alone (I had no pets at the time) when I look at the sunking spot, nothing was there (this also happen to a different cousin of mine) I had a dream that my mother told me my sister was ill and had cancer (later that morning, about 1-2 hours after my dream, my grandmother and aunt both told me they had cancer. My grandmother died two years ago from cancer and my aunt past away from Cancer last Sunday. I found out from reading Cicely Tyson memoir who also had this happen to her, that it's called Extra Sensory Perception or the 6th sense.

Things like this are REAL! ever since I gave my life to Christ there were times when I'd go through such stuff, I was able to command them to go in JESUS name❤ it's true when Jesus actually says we have authority over the power of the enemy🔥 Love your videos❤
I think it's good to be a skeptic. I believe in ghosts and have had some weird experiences, but it's good to be open to other possibilities too. When it comes to the paranormal, it's best to have a bit of skepticism when approaching the subject.

You are brave! I would of cried after seeing shadows and having my back slapped. 🫠 I can’t believe your parents still live there. I’ve always wondered why spirits “appear” for some people and not others. I am not complaining though haha. I think there is some truth to these conspiracies like ghosts or big foot. This was quite entertaining.
I prayed and asked God to not show me these things. So far I haven't seen them.
