My reasons for claiming Euro 2020 as the best of this century are - 1) Comebacks and fairytale runs - Switzerland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Denmark (after what happened to Eriksen). 2) Surprises - Germany, France and Portugal ending their journey in the Round of 16. 3) Youngsters, veterans and players in their prime lit up the tournament- Donnarumma, Pedri, Damsgaard, Saka shined. Ronaldo, Schmeichel, Chiellini-Bonucci showed that they can still do it. Insigne, Sterling, Kane, Schick all lit up the tournament. 4) The best two teams reaching the finals - After Italy didn't qualify for World Cup 2018, you know the amount of backlash they received. Mancini arrived at the helm and worked towards progress since day 1. Also, Southgate's job didn't go unnoticed. 5) Donnarumma becoming the Best Player of the Tournament - Forwards are usually preferred in these awards. Seeing a goalkeeper receiving individual honour gives happiness. There can be more reasons. You can have your own opinion.

Scandinavians have actual CULTURE. We Balkans may be passionate about football but, the rest of Europe is actually cultivated and civilised about it.
