A lot of large corporations don’t put out Autumn and Halloween until END of July / beginning of August/ MID AUGUST. Ppl like us always ahead of “retail time”. 😝 We love Halloween and Fall.. therefore we get all spooky in the beginning of summer 🤣🤣🤣 Hang in there… it’s coming! 🍂 👻🎃💜

I’m so glad I’m not the only one feeling disappointed. My husband and I are opting to go old school this year in a way to save money and create a fun tradition. We are going to build a scarecrow with a pumpkin carving head. Each year he will get a new face that progressively get scarier as our toddler grows older. But will be cute these first few years. 😊 previous year heads will lay at his feet like a graveyard of years pass.

I was browsing Joann online and saw they are stocking more fall in my store! I’m hoping to go in person to see it in person. Love Halloween but I also love the cozy vibes of fall decor. I also decorate for fall end of August/ beginning of Sept.

Love the HomeGoods videos as well! HomeGoods fav this video was the “witch is in” broomstick sign. I’ve been looking for something long and horizontal to go over my back door. There were a few things from the DT plus section that looked cool. Definitely will be picking up the solar lanterns, HP tray, and the light up garland. Maybe the Raven candlesticks as well. The long prop up welcome sign was cool too.
On one of your past first videos for this season I really liked the color swatches you had picked out: whiskey, wine, olive. That was a great new idea to use for Fall this year so I decided to use those color swatches as well. Thank you for sharing some new ideas on your channel for Fall. It will be nice to use something new then just oranges and browns.

So I have watched your fall and Halloween tours from last year MULTIPLE times because I’m obsessed with how you decorated with things you grew. I even bought and am growing the mahogany splendor hibiscus because of you! I sure hope you repeat the same style this year!!!
I think i did something wrong - I did it in a container, but I only have three tall shoots coming up. Two are about three feet tall, the other one maybe 1.5 feet haha. So I’m thinking I’ll have to cut each one in half to have somewhat of a bouquet. Im in zone 8a though so maybe that’s it? Or maybe I need to put down a ton of seeds in the container next year?!

@@elizabeths.799 it sounds like you need to “pinch” it…. Which means cutting the stem back right above a leaf node 3-4 leaf sets up. It encourages more branching. There are a lot of videos on UA-cam about pinching your plants if you’re unfamiliar and want to watch something first! It’s literally just cutting it though

My TJ Maxx in South Dakota still is in full summer mode, and not a single fall or Halloween piece yet. My HomeGoods has some Halloween, but no fall. My Joann’s does have a little bit of fall florals, and some Halloween. My Hobby Lobby has quite a bit of fall. Cracker Barrel has some Halloween, and they just put out some really nice fall stuff yesterday. I have been the most impressed by their fall stuff this year. It seems like they are the only ones with something a little different! I picked up a very large fall ceramic light up house for only $40, and I fully intend to get more as they bring more stuff in! I haven’t been to Kirkland’s yet, but I’m definitely going to have to see if mine has anything out.

I went to my H.G. store last night & they had a little more Halloween, but nothing like yours!! I love those houses so cute...none at my store! No fall at all there & nothing at all at T.J. Maxx. My one D.T. has a few fall florals out & the other store has zero fall or Halloween! I think since school starts back August 2nd here it's all Back to School stuff right now. Michael's did have fall out & just a few items for Halloween. I haven't tried Kirklands or Cracker Barrel yet...those will be my next stops. I watch several videos on Code Orange, aka, Halloween lovers in different areas so I've probably seen what you have seen it seems. Nothing so far has stood out except obvious new decor. People can always look online as some pieces of decor maybe different. I love the Cinderella coach piece. Just beautiful! Have a spooktackular evening ✨🌛

I'm finding it hard to like the new collections of halloween decor and fall seems to be overlooked this year in many stores. Are these people insane? Lol, where is the moodiness? That's the fall I was looking for, cozy moody and not a store to give some insight on that look. I appreciate your content, which keeps me grounded in what I want to do for the upcoming seasons.
I was thinking the same about fall decor, it was much better last year. Maybe it’s not all out yet. I must have that carriage, the skeleton bust w gold chest & crown and the sequin bats! Yes keep filming at Homegoods like to see what’s available at different ones , it gives me hope that those pieces will show up at mine!

Our DT's have started stocking Halloween here. About the only things that I have liked at DT Plus sections are the solar lanterns, the oval metal trays, and the glass lights. Not alot of Fall overall anywhere here either. I'm really sad about Kirkland's in our area.... they closed them all up!😢 But I love all of their things! Is have to drive about 2 hours to get to one. I'm over the whole gnome and farm truck fads. Waaayyyy too overdone! I loved the bat candy bowl!🦇🦇🦇 Home Goods always has amazing things! Thank you for sharing, Kristen, and have a great weekend!❤
Yes I agree Kirklands Fall was so nice last year!! It seemed they were getting away from all the signs with words and the trucks with pumpkins and doing more neutral and upscale pieces. I hope they bring out more stylish pieces. My Home Goods doesn’t have any Fall out. Hopefully soon!

Yes we are in the same area! The plus one is a dollar tree over on laskey. I called around to all the stores in the area and that’s the only one that had Halloween a week ago! Not sure about now

I feel the same way! I know that it's still "early," but I have been watching a ton of videos of what other people are seeing in stores and I am unimpressed as well. Definitely not called to buy anything so far. My local TJ Maxx has one end cap of stuff. The two Marshall's near me are still showing 4th of July stuff. Michael's and Hobby Lobby are same old same old. Lawd knows I have enough decor to last me a lifetime, so I don't *need* anything, but even going window shopping has been so lackluster. Hoping things pick up towards August. Last year, my local Target was putting out Halloween stuff mid-September and I was over it.
I grabbed the headless horseman today @ home goods🎃 it’s the greenish one with light up orange pumpkin head! I may paint it🤷🏼♀️ Also the dapper pumpkin head man from Martha Stewart🧡🖤
I’m not seeing fall any where but Hobby Lobby and Michaels. I bought a wicker pumpkin tray and new placemats at HL. They do have some pretty plates. Joann’s, Ross’s, TJMaxx, Home Goods, Marshall’s- nothing. I would like to go to AtHome and Old Time Pottery.
I’m desperately in need of new Fall decor but I never seem to find anything that seems “new”. I don’t understand why the stores bring the same thing out every year.
Ok ok so I feel like when it comes to fall decor it’s been the same farm housey collections year after year from hobby lobby- Michaels - Kirklands etc and I’m OVER IT personally this year I’m focusing more on online purchases- local boutiques - waiting on targets fall collections etc I have a very specific spooky chic decor/ color palette I’m focusing on and these stores are just NOT GIVING also I usually love Joanns bc they seem to follow more with the trends and are modern but wasn’t feeling their stuff either 😒

I was thinking the same about fall decor, it was much better last year. Maybe it’s not all out yet. I must have that carriage, the skeleton bust w gold chest & crown and the sequin bats! Yes keep filming at Homegoods like to see what’s available at different ones , it gives me hope that those pieces will show up at mine!
Maybe the Halloween is out so early that fall feels late. I guess it’s still pretty early to see anything at all, but we’ve been spoiled this year

Our DT's have started stocking Halloween here. About the only things that I have liked at DT Plus sections are the solar lanterns, the oval metal trays, and the glass lights. Not alot of Fall overall anywhere here either. I'm really sad about Kirkland's in our area.... they closed them all up!😢 But I love all of their things! Is have to drive about 2 hours to get to one. I'm over the whole gnome and farm truck fads. Waaayyyy too overdone! I loved the bat candy bowl!🦇🦇🦇 Home Goods always has amazing things! Thank you for sharing, Kristen, and have a great weekend!❤

Yes I agree Kirklands Fall was so nice last year!! It seemed they were getting away from all the signs with words and the trucks with pumpkins and doing more neutral and upscale pieces. I hope they bring out more stylish pieces.

Yes we are in the same area! The plus one is a dollar tree over on laskey. I called around to all the stores in the area and that’s the only one that had Halloween a week ago! Not sure about now

I feel the same way! I know that it's still "early," but I have been watching a ton of videos of what other people are seeing in stores and I am unimpressed as well. Definitely not called to buy anything so far. My local TJ Maxx has one end cap of stuff. The two Marshall's near me are still showing 4th of July stuff. Michael's and Hobby Lobby are same old same old. Lawd knows I have enough decor to last me a lifetime, so I don't *need* anything, but even going window shopping has been so lackluster. Hoping things pick up towards August. Last year, my local Target was putting out Halloween stuff mid-September and I was over it.
Same same same! Target is annoying for waiting until mid September for their decorations… by that point we are all already decorated
We bought a headless houseman on the horse 5 years ago at Ross for $8. I’m so shocked everyone seems to be looking for them now.

I’m not seeing fall any where but Hobby Lobby and Michaels. I bought a wicker pumpkin tray and new placemats at HL. They do have some pretty plates. Joann’s, Ross’s, TJMaxx, Home Goods, Marshall’s- nothing. I would like to go to AtHome and Old Time Pottery.

Ok ok so I feel like when it comes to fall decor it’s been the same farm housey collections year after year from hobby lobby- Michaels - Kirklands etc and I’m OVER IT
personally this year I’m focusing more on online purchases- local boutiques - waiting on targets fall collections etc
I have a very specific spooky chic decor/ color palette I’m focusing on and these stores are just NOT GIVING
also I usually love Joanns bc they seem to follow more with the trends and are modern but wasn’t feeling their stuff either 😒
