Ahaaa I love James. He went to the same secondary school as I do before he went to London for Billy Elliot. I only found out the other day that he went to my local theatre group as well before all his fame began! He left the year before I joined, just missed him :'( Apparently he was amazin' there :) Hopefully I'll meet him one day :D xxx

Took a long time figuring out what the heck they all were because it was completely unlabeled. Sadly I haven't yet found any digital copies that are better quality than what we already have ... which is itself pretty ropey, higher rez than this but with a fair bit of flicker, colour bleed and imperfect sound (seems the deck they recorded it on wasn't very good, and a decade of regular replaying has since taken its toll) I suspect this was originally 240p or maybe even better, but it's been automatically downgraded to 144 because, strictly (ahem) speaking it's copyright material and shouldn't really be here. Letting us see what is effectively a one-sixteenth rez (144p @ 25fps instead of 576i @ 50fps, and a similar downgrade horizontally) preview is about as much of a concession as UA-cam is likely able to legally get away with. You could try drilling through iPlayer or asking the BBC very nicely if it's possible to get hold of a copy somehow... or going through the more traditional unofficial channels...
+mspenrice Wow, so you have it on a DVD? In which case - would you mind ripping it? You can download free software. Handbreak on Mac is good or an equivalent for Windows and that will convert the DVD video into a file! Would you mind doing that?
