I have a explanation on why Shinobu is hated but idk if you want to know- but I will still say it Shinobu is hated due to her "bullying" towards Giyuu but her teasing is to make Giyuu open up and make friends Another reason is that some reactions to Giyuu always make Shinobu evil and stuff and in Giyuu snaps they always make Giyuu snap at Shinobu even though the 2 of them are good friends (yes you read it correctly GOOD FRIENDS they enjoy talking to eachother and that is a fact) I have another reason why people hate Shinobu, some toxic Giyuu fans are always making reasons why Shinobu is bad and should be hated on Another reason is that SANEGIYUU shippers always make Shinobu bad and Sanemi being overprotective of Giyuu and hurts Shinobu whenever she "bullies" Giyuu Another reason(Damn lots of reasons) is that TOXIC GIYUU FANS that are youtubers make Shinobu teasing alot worse so people who have not watched kny thinks that Shinobu is evil and stuff- (When I didn't watch kny or read the manga I used to hate Shinobu but now she's my favorite character due to me and her being similar so that's also why I have tons of reasons why Shinobu is hated on)

More info on shinibu backstory After Kanaes death, shinobu became more like her, kanae said she liked shinibu smile and that she should smile more, so after her death she did, hating the demon kanae discribed to her in her final breaths, in the infinity castle arc shinobu ends up finding douma and attempts to kill him knowing she can’t, which is why for years she consumed pver 75kg of wisteria poison, around over 100x times the lethal amount, knowing the demon would die. Imagine coughing up wisteria petals and poison and hiding it from the butterfly sisters and the repercussions. All so incase her poisons couldn’t work, whoever (kanao and inosuke) came to finish the fight would hold off douma and behead him when the poison kicked in.

The wisteria poison was the plan b. If she couldn't kill douma, the poison would, she knew she didn't have any chance to kill him, so she thought of a plan to kill him, so if she couldn't kill douma, the poison would have killed him. She got sliced, but kanae helped her saying to dont give up. After she had 0 chance of winning or even attacking because she got sliced and couldn't move cuz she used her entire strength, she said to douma to eat her and that she would be tasty, so douma ate her, and after some time, he died.
no, im pretty sure wisteria was plan A. she knew she was too weak to kill douma and planned to get eaten with the poison in her. but even tho the main plan was to get eaten she still fought douma with all her strength just incase she could kill him but that failed and plan A ended up working
