Simply exquisite. Imagine how it must feel to be a conduit through which this artist from over 200 years ago can express his art. These musicians are all special. They have dedicated a very large portion of their lives in order to be able to perform music like this. Beautiful.
There are so much amazing performances of this concerto! This one, Dupre, Rostropovich, Maisky, Capuçon, Gabetta and many more. I think it's the gem of the heart of a the most of the cellists.
Truls is over-rated! Most Awful is Mischa Maisky! Maisky the most over-rated ever! Maisky is only famous! Arto Noras is the King Haydn concerto no 1! Maisky was only 6th prize winner Tchaikovsky competition! Jury and audience did not liked Maisky! Story Truls Mork he was finalist weak Tchaikovsky competition in 1982! No top prizes for Truls! Audience and jury did not liked Truls in 1982 Moscow Tchaikovsky competition!!
@@RaineriHakkarainen Arto Noras is good indeed. Its about personal referance but where is truls overrated, most people dont even know him? Did you watch his auditions? He is defo one of the greatests. Maisky is a bit overrated and so is yoyo and Rostro. But they all deserve their places, because they worked hard for it.

So clean, he has so much "time" setting up each phrasing whereas most cellists (even well known ones) seem a bit rushed during this movement
