This is a common misconception. Colossal Fighter was given an errata which changes the special summon into a "you can" effect. Colossal fighter now must always resolve as Chain Link 2 when destroyed by a monster equipped with Armory Arm. If Colossal Fighter revives itself, then armory arm can no longer burn due to the Colossal Fighter no longer being in a state where it was "sent to the GY" at the resolution of Armory Arm.
@@gpmradirgy8953 the same reason why in current, flip monsters will not activate if removed from the field even if flipped face up (ie Ehren, Lightsworn Monk). In edison ryko will trigger in the deck.
Very cool idea but personally I don't think buzzing should be allowed without an answer. The whole asking for text or talking out an answer should be done on their own thinking time and not while answering. There wasn't a real time penalty for answering and I think that would help make them feel more pressured and make buzzing in more meaningful
Some of the Edison rulings are relevant to current format. The main examples are Apollousa vs Forbidden Droplet/Chalice and when you can Xyz Summon for Zeus. Extras to follow as and when I listen to the video. Yes you can destroy cards in the Extra Deck by Divine Wrath. Such an anti-climatic ending hahahaah😂
How does Arcanite Magician's attack becomes 200, when Shrink only changed the original attack. After a lingering effect is activated that changes the original attack, continuous additions are recalculated again, so it should be at 2200. Gale's effect on the attack stat wears off altogether after Shrink has resolved.
@@supernilly5863 the text on shrink isn’t accurate to the card’s actual effect. Shrink sets the atk of the target to 1/2 of its original atk. Since arcanite’s original atk is 400, shrink will set it to 200.
last question was easy. chaos sorc summons itself without starting a chain. the oppression started the chain, the question gave that part away by saying that call of the haunted was CL3. any chaos player or someone whose played black horn of heaven would get that 1. Missed a lot of the other 1s though fun video
With the gorz question,I understand why the answer would be a if the tokens atk is 0 after resolving, but then is that not the same as shrink not being able to target the token coz if the token ends up with 0 attack then theoretically shrinks effect doesn’t resolve? Meaning the answer is both a and d, but more so d.
It's legal to activate Shrink and target the Gorz token, and the token's original ATK (?) is being treated as zero. Shrink will set the ATK of the token to half of zero, which is still zero.
@@CrowsNestRetroYGO but would the only reason the token atk would be 0 is coz tokens can’t be given attack points so in theory the effect doesn’t even resolve so shrink being unable to target because of its rulings is irrelevant

Fun fact: the event reprinting of Armory Arm un-errata'ed the card so that the iconic Armory Arm + Colossal Fighter OTK is possible again.
