    Whatsup guy, have you ever dealt with a broken differential or heard of one going bad on first gen?

      @FUNZO1904 yes i have dealt with broken diff. No it isn't a first Gen tundra. What going on?

      @@theotherguy3083 oh ok, just having my mechanic find a used third member after my nephew was driving it and he said the wheels kind of locked up and got a lil swirvy. My brother took it to murrieta trans to have it fixed and the guy didnt do a good job 5 months ago. I just changed the fluid after noticing a leak and the oil was grey. 🤦🏻‍♂️

      @FUNZO1904 a leak, is it making odd noises and where about is it leaking from

      @@theotherguy3083 looks like the carrier seal since its spinning and spraying oil underneath. If any noise its a slight drone/humm noise like when a wheel bearing starts to fail. I was just wondering if you have dealt with that since people say something like that only breaks with rough driving or no fluid changes.

      @FUNZO1904 it breaks due to old age as well. It is probably prudent to have a mechanical remove the differential, check the backlash to see if it is still within spec. Then replace the seal.
