Hi Ardy! Super nice video! I have a question: I want to start buying OCS wargames, and I wonder if it is worth buying the first editions of the series (e.g. Guderian's Blitzkrieg I)? The price difference between a first editions games and its reprints are huge... What do you think?
Thanks! In some cases, it does indeed make sense to buy the older take on a campaign due to what the later versions cost. Examples I would recommend are Tunisia, DAK, and Enemy at the Gates, all of which can be played with the current rules, which I would also recommend. Stay away from GB1, which cannot due to massive changes to the supply system made for #2 in the series.
This is a great new format for unboxings. I really enjoyed last week's as well.
After regularly watching your channel I'm dipping my toe into OCS and have pre-ordered this.
They're not all gonna be like this, for logistical reasons if nothing else. But you'll definitely see more of these.
@@ardwulfslair Yeah, I appreciate these as a "special event"
Definitely the way to go format wise.
20:42 the play aids are improving and that is great.
This is perfect timing, just finished where the iron crosses grow a couple weeks ago and looking forward to getting into OCS, nice video
Thank you very much Gary, these videos are great!
I’m appreciative of good bibliographies.
Thanks Tony and Gary. Ordering mine today! Insightful unboxing
Order in and got the preorder price to boot! Added Operational Matters as I am still an OCS neophyte. Thanks again
Excellent video. Much better than the usual 'unboxing'. I now understand the situation and the game much better.
Great interview and unboxing!
I see my first OCS game in my future.
Tony is correct…the liberation often takes a distant backseat to the German conquest of Crimea
Great unboxing !! Thanks
Liked for "lurid magenta" alone!
Good timing. I got the processing notice while I was watching.
Please stop. My wallet surrenders. 😅
19:16 oh, card stock player aids, nice!
Nice job
