This song reminds me of my brothers. The three of us played the heck out of Peace Walker and it feels a bit like our anthem. Back when times were simpler.

One of the most powerful and beautiful song in the MGS soundtrack themes, you have a beautiful voice Donna, and it makes the song even better.
I remember the first time I heard this song, this beautiful and perfect voice.
It was the greatest experience I've ever had in a video game. In this part, Snake is suffering a real Soviet attack with shots, bombs, missiles exploding in every direction and Snake taking the anti-aircraft machine gun to shoot down the helicopters. In the midst of this chaos, Heaven's Divide begins to play, precisely a counterpoint to the situation that is occurring at the moment and which fits perfectly to the occasion.
I get emotional every time I hear this song in Donna Burke's voice and I remember why Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker is my favorite game in the franchise.

I played the games as a young dude, childhood friends, siblings, growing up, fond memories, and now I share this experience with my own kids, and on it goes because it's probably the same story for millions of fans out there

I still sad this song wasn't in MGSV. Would have blared this out of the helicopter a whole lot.
