Hey,
Introduction and greeting the patient comes under Relationship building criterion along with other parameters such as being attentive and respectful to the patient, not having a judgmental approach, empathetic approach etc which altogether have 3 marks (it’s not just Introduction and greetings).By that what OET has meant is, you need to have a proper start which is pleasant (building rapport with the patient ) according to the context you are dealing with and not every scenario demands the introduction of the nurse. If it’s a known case as you have mentioned where examination is done have a logical start.
