I just bought a full brush set off amazon, it’s really good quality for cheap. It was an 18 piece set with everything I need. It was £10 for me but possibly somewhere under $15. Biggest tip: If you struggle with blending buy a Flat Faced Brush. This is a huge game changer for me. It doesn’t leave any brush strokes and blends out in seconds.

It's really good for the beginners basics. I need to also watch an older black woman video because even though I get compliments on my natural skin and people think I have on makeup at this stage of the game I'm concerned about wrinkles coming & how to do skin care, keeping my skin healthy before applying make up & wearing makeup. I just purchased the brushed mentioned at the beginning of the video and I’m super excited. I ordered 24 for around 12 bucks. My friend said she purchased the Morphie brushes and got them on sale but she didn’t tell me what sale lol so I will be purchasing them later this year. I appreciate all your videos. They have been very helpful in the start of my makeup journey. Forgot to mention I watched one of your videos yesterday and bought like 4 maybelline foundations and swatched them all to figure out which one was best for me. There were two closet to my shade but I went with the darker of them both since I will be using concealer. I thought about mixing them two also..

An update. I have been practicing regularly, because of an upcoming wedding I will be attending next month. My hubby said, I am getting better and better each time I apply the makeup. My question/comment to you is: The first time I applied my makeup, I used NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop (warm Carmel), which I know would give me the matte look. And, I must say I was pleasantly surprised that it actually came out so well for my first time. Also, I have Fit Me 330 (toffee), which is dewey, which I tried but it is still coming out as a matte look. What am I doing wrong? Also, the fawn concealer blends in with my skin tone and does not give me the highlighted look. Do I need to change to creamy beige? Thanks, Janeen
yassssss we love to see it! i would go up one shade lighter in concealer if fawn is more your skin tone & i would try using a dewy setting spray like (milani make it dewy - go.magik.ly/ml/ug8y/ ) to get the dewy look, the powder is probably making it come out matte

I just bought a full brush set off amazon, it’s really good quality for cheap. It was an 18 piece set with everything I need. It was £10 for me but possibly somewhere under $15. Biggest tip: If you struggle with blending buy a Flat Faced Brush. This is a huge game changer for me. It doesn’t leave any brush strokes and blends out in seconds.
This series has been the most informative videos I've watched on beginners makeup. Thanks for explaining everything so well. I'll watch other youtubers on this topic and they'll still do it as if we know the basics.. idek know the bare minimum lmaoo!

I really learned how to applied the creame concealer above the eyes, I love how you show detail after detail when applying each product and the close up really top it off. You are a pro. I'm a beginner & I just turned 60, lol but I appreciate your beginners videos because they are very educational and detailed on picking out skin tones and brushes. It's really good for the beginners basics. I need to also watch an older black woman video because even though I get compliments on my natural skin and people think I have on makeup at this stage of the game I'm concerned about wrinkles coming & how to do skin care, keeping my skin healthy before applying make up & wearing makeup. Thank you again for keeping it simple & easy to understand because this make up, beat your face can be so overwhelming! I just purchased the brushed mentioned at the beginning of the video and I’m super excited. I ordered 24 for around 12 bucks. My friend said she purchased the Morphie brushes and got them on sale but she didn’t tell me what sale lol so I will be purchasing them later this year. I appreciate all your videos. They have been very helpful in the start of my makeup journey. Forgot to mention I watched one of your videos yesterday and bought like 4 maybelline foundations and swatched them all to figure out which one was best for me. There were two closet to my shade but I went with the darker of them both since I will be using concealer. I thought about mixing them two also..

I think I can do this only because you’re a great teacher and you’ve motivated me. The only thing that I use is BB cream (that isn’t makeup right? 😟😂) I have medium/medium skin color🤔. How light should the concealer could be in order to match the foundation color?

An update. I have been practicing regularly, because of an upcoming wedding I will be attending next month. My hubby said, I am getting better and better each time I apply the makeup. My question/comment to you is: The first time I applied my makeup, I used NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop (warm Carmel), which I know would give me the matte look. And, I must say I was pleasantly surprised that it actually came out so well for my first time.
Also, I have Fit Me 330 (toffee), which is dewey, which I tried but it is still coming out as a matte look. What am I doing wrong? Also, the fawn concealer blends in with my skin tone and does not give me the highlighted look. Do I need to change to creamy beige? Thanks, Janeen
yassssss we love to see it! i would go up one shade lighter in concealer if fawn is more your skin tone & i would try using a dewy setting spray like (milani make it dewy - go.magik.ly/ml/ug8y/ ) to get the dewy look, the powder is probably making it come out matte
