    Explain where you get 38.1 from
    Coz (25.4×1.5=38.1) on 90 elbow... nothing is new &old there?

      Formula is 1.5 times NPS. If you convert inches to mm - 1 inch = 25.4 mm so 1.5 times 25.4 = 38.1. TO for 8 inch elbow is 12" or 304.8 mm. He is only converting inch measurements to metric. You only need to convert if you are working in metric measurements. It is not old and new way as he described they are both the same.

    why mix inches with Mil? NPS 8" INCH CORRECT T. O WILL BE 1.5" INCH IT IS NOT NEW WAY!
